Not like the levels really MEAN anything other than a few more HP. I'd much rather have the levels go to 100 and know it might take years to get everyone that way. Although for the "completionists" out there, that would probably drive them nuts, because they'd feel obligated to get every figure they owned that high.

Yeah, that's the problem. I am a completionist. I only just started Hero Levels recently, and I have so far to go. :< It would certainly make the game lengthier- but I'd rather we just have larger levels instead.

Heh. And I found the levels in Skylanders: Giants to be bordering on obnoxiously long. (Assuming by "level" you're talking about stage length.)

I'd much rather have had MORE stages than LARGER ones. Give me fifty individual stages, none of which take longer than ten minutes to go through. Or make checkpoints so you could start at a few different places in each stage as opposed to "Ugh - do I really have to go through this entire robot driving level again just to track down a hat?"

It's a good example of what the game designers are up against, though, and why it's virtually impossible to make a game that will please everyone.

Lol. I didnt even know it, but my ipod is connected to my moms paypal. She didnt notice till my brother bought random stuff. She just ordered battlegrounds for my b-day. I only have to endure one more week of school befor i play it.

I just got this game for free (50$ starter thing) because of a Black Friday sale where if you buy an iPod you get 50$ off anything else xD. Sweet Christmas to me. Sadly, I only get to play it once Christmas comes. So I'm stuck waiting til then. ;;;

Seeing pics I might get this after my birthday in February with all the cash and gift cards, though I want the Xbox bundle more. It's not a terribly bad deal. If I can sell S2 Cynder and Jet-Vac >$20, that means RDT, the treasure chest and the portal is <$30. Not too bad.

No official word on when well see any android release. I wouldn't hold your breath tho.

Personally, the $50 bundle is really worth it to me. Royal double trouble is really awesome (and he's series 2 in the console games). The platinum treasure chest was a nice bonus, but i felt like they could've done something else instead of more XP and money. And i dont see why people are complaining about having extra cynders and jet vacs, i bought the portal owners pack for all the other games, if anything, i have too many tree rexes. Anyhow, its a pretty good game over-all.
now for some mathematics for you non-believers.
3 figures- $30
portal- around $10/$15
magic item- $5 (bulk)

if you were to count the bundle for the least possible price, you get an exclusive variant while you pay $10 for the app.
if you were to count the bundle for the highest possible price, you get the app for free.
Keep in mind the bundle comes with boosts, and makes gameplay a little smoother.

They really need to add Hats or something as a way to make the experience more connected to the console game. Even better, having Hats that you can only get in these mobile games would be cool and make the experience seem more worthwhile.

Without anything like that, they games seem very disconnected and all you really are doing is just using the physical character to unlock a representation in the game and that does not provide the "magical" Skylanders experience in my mind.

this should been done for the psvita and i would be all over it....

What an embarrassment this has become, they should not be selling the mobile starter packs anymore since they seem to have no intention of finishing the development of the game.

I played it on my 4S. The game looks fine but like with a lot of games I had some minor issues controlling everything due to the small input surface. It played well enough but I'd rather use an iPad.

Agreed. The hat should be a good one, 55 Max Health and 10 Speed maybe? Their should also be a way to transfer the hat to the console without a Bluetooth portal, maybe a code based system? Either way, amazing game. Fits perfectly into the Skylanders universe with excellent playability and new concepts. Would also like to see a multiplayer concept, but I doubt that'll happen.
