Sonic then jumped of and jumped on Pinkamena's head as he then jumped of of her head and landed on his feet. As the huge hawk went smashing into a warehouse*

Having no luck finding a meal, they head out into the open and notice that a lot of **** had been going down.One person in particular caught Lotus's eye. She carefully approaches Pinkamena.*

*She closes her eyes and is surrounded by a soft, dark pink glow, as if the energies were part of her.*

*Foxtail comes up to Lotus and the unconscious Pinkamena. His ears droop as he lets out a slightly irritated-sounding sigh.*

Foxtail: Not again...

Lotus: "Again?" You know this chick?

Foxtail: Well, not this version. The one I got before was a lot more annoying.

*Lotus gives Foxtail a weird look before shaking her head.*

Lotus: And this has happened before?

Foxtail: Well not with Pinkie here. It was a nice elf girl...

*Realizing that she could get the wrong idea, he talks quickly to explain.*

We were just friends, I swear!

Lotus: It's alright, I understand, you go through a lot of peeps before finding the right mate, but we're getting off topic. I'm going to go look for something to try and help, you stay here and watch her.

Foxtail: Here. *gives her his Dead Ringer* This should help you if you run into trouble.

Lotus: Okay. Wish me luck!

*She takes off, but stops at a small pond with water lilies growing in it. She scoops one out and places it in her hair, looking at her reflection, pleased with how it looked. She then continues.*

*The glow surrounding Pinkamena started to shine brighter, the regenerative process she was going through, nearing an end. The process however, only repairs her body thoroughly, she will be weak when she wakes up.*

'You should be hearing me now, testing testing?'

*Her voice could be heard, but she was still unconscious.*

'Good, it works, Well. As I was explaining, I just died. No, not now, but around fifteen minutes ago. It takes a lot out of me, but I recover, ᴵ ᵃᶫʷᵃʸˢ ʰᵃᵛᵉ. I think it's a defense mechanism, it gives me an adrenaline rush to get somewhere safe where then it really heals me... but.. I'm kinda pathetic afterwards... eh hehe?

Uh, I kinda can't move, so could you please move me away from the Car with an ego bigger than Sol please?

Its in the shadows west of me.'

*Foxtail gently grips one of Pinkamena's back legs in his mouth and drags her back into the alley, where he had built a makeshift shelter out of cardboard boxes, hopefully out of view of K.A.R.R.*

*Pinkamena shuffled around, her eyes slowly opening. A fox came into her view.*

.... Eh, so you are a fox. Want a medal for that?

*Foxtail simply rolls his eyes at this comment; he was no stranger to sarcasm. Seeing that Pinkamena was fine, he steps out of the alley, tilts his head upward, and lets out a howl to signal Lotus to come back.*

*Elsewhere in the city, Lotus hears Foxtail's call and answers with her own, sprinting back. Along the way, she sees a sculpture across the street that wasn't there before, but looked oddly familiar to her, and stops to look. To her horror, she realizes- too late -that she was staring at SCP-173.*

*Before she can stop herself, she blinks, and the sculpture had rapidly moved across the street, standing directly in front of her. She lets out a small, terrified squeak as she stares at its face, her heart pounding.*

*The small fox barks in alarm as the vehicle takes out the sculpture, and although relieved to be out of that situation, she saw that K.A.R.R. was a much larger potential threat, and takes off with her tail between her legs.*

*SCP-173 climbs its way out of the pile of rubble just in time to see Lotus escaping, but decides to let the young vixen go. She had done remarkably well maintaining eye contact, and it was impressed. Afterwards, it starts off back to the facility; it had been out long enough to entertain itself and was satisfied, for several dead bodies lay around the city, each with a broken neck.*

*Still at the alley, Foxtail began tapping his paw impatiently. Where was she? Why do women always take way longer to do things than it should? Time goes on and he starts to get worried, and as more and more time passes, he starts to panic, until he finally decides to go search for her himself. He looks back at Pinkamena.*

I hope you're strong enough to protect yourself for a while; I'll be back as soon as I can.

*He sniffs at the ground to find her scent, and then sprints in that direction. Despite being nocturnal, it was imperative that he find Lotus before sunset, which not only would subject them both to more dangerous times, but would also make finding her much more difficult.*

Wait! Pl- *Pinkamena Sighs.*

'It's no use Pinks, he's already gone.'

*She groans as she weakly tries to get up, her four legs not able to support her weight, she falls back onto her barrel.*

I can't even get up and he leaves me?

*She glare that she cast in Foxtail's direction could have set the sky on fire. She gave up on her glare, that clearly didn't resolve anything and decided to sleep off her weak state.*

*He hadn't gotten very far away when he heard Pinkamena's call in addition to feeling her glare. It dawned on him how selfish he was being, going to find his girlfriend, leaving the weak and needy behind.*

C'mon Foxy... you're better than this.

*His ears drooped, he silently prayed that Lotus make it home safe, and turned around, dragging his tail along the ground with guilt. When he got back, he looked at the ground, barely even able to face Pinkamena. He whimpers softly.*

I'm sorry... I should've stayed here... please don't hurt me...

*Pinkamena slowly opened her eyes.*

Ugh... I tell you that I'm going to be pathetic when I come around, and what do you do? Run off!

*She yelled, she didn't want to yell, but she did.*

Look, if you can help me up, I can walk my lack of energy off... yeah it sounds stupid, but that's how my body works.

*She gave a genuine smile with that. Quickly replaced by a stern look.*

We need to get moving now, if my Sense is right, then the SCP facility might be experiencing a small exodus soon.

*Her voice became grim.*

Pray to whatever gods you have that 409 never leaves that complex.

*She begins to rise, hoping that Foxtail will assist her in getting up.*

*Foxtail extends his paw to help.*

409... oh yeah, that crystal thing. Yeah, we'd probably be screwed if that got out somehow.

*Pinkamena accepts the paw with her hoof, and is pulled upwards.*

*She turns around and starts walking away weakly.*

*Lotus stood on her hind legs at the alley's entrance, leaning against the wall with one paw.*

Foxtail: Lotus! Oh thank God you're okay. So... what took you so long?

Lotus: I got stuck in a staring contest with SCP-173, so it looks like 682 wasn't the only one that escaped. It wouldn't surprise me if there were more SCPs on the loose.

Foxtail: Well I'm glad you made it back safe. I don't know what I'd do if you got killed....

*She returns to standing on all fours as an affectionate smile comes to her face. They both look into each other's eyes, where Foxtail came to realize how beautiful she truly was. Granted, he had thought she was nice looking when they first met, but it wasn't until the moment that he had the time to stop and really appreciate her that her beauty had really shone to him. As if she knew what he was thinking, she strolls up to him and they both embrace, purring happily. It became undeniable that they were meant for each other. He was hers. She was his. It was perfect, a match made in heaven.*

*So after that small romantic moment, Foxtail turns back to Pinkamena.*

Well, I guess now that she's back, we can continue. Lead the way.

Trap Shadow kept to the shadows. Odd creatures walked the land, he wondered when he could go back to Skylands. This was his first mission to survey and ally with the creatures on this world, Eon would be disappointed and he would let his team the "Swap Force" down. "I must succeed" he murmured
