THEY get all kinds of special stuff, I think they got a tour or two of Toys For Bob, and they get figures in the mail from Activision. That video is little proof (I don't know if the dad mentions where it came from, and I'm NOT watching 16 minutes of them to find out, but I think he usually takes a They Came From Fairies style approach to explaining to his kids anyway).

Too bad. I'm convinced she'll be out before October, I'm just waiting for that to be proven true. However, this may mean my waiting is about to end. I figured she'd come out in July, though, as it's getting late for coming out with new figures.

They put her on the pre order just to make the U.S. not have a full set until the giant"s era is over
So unless you order from somewhere that has LC hex already, you haven to pres order swap force

I think Activision has already played their cards on Lightcore Hex. Practically everywhere says "never before released" and you probably would have heard some indication by now if she were coming prior to Swap Force. They intend to overlap figures with game releases. Australia won't get Polar prior to Swap Force and we won't get Hex LC - that way unless you "cheat" you will not have a full collection until there is a whole new set of figures out to buy. They want the chase to never end.

You need to either be patient or pay a premium/trade to an international second hand seller. There are decent deals to be had, if you look around. It all depends on what you consider "too much" for acquiring and shipping a figure from Australia. Even with a good deal you are probably looking to spend about $35-40 for her (shipping is pretty steep for people that don't ship lots of stuff). I figured a trade for a Polar Whirlwind would generate some interest given that it solves a problem for both people, but there still wasn't that much interest. If you wait until September you might be able to find an even better deal, given that those figures will lose almost all of their value the second Swap Force comes out since practically everyone will get it for free.

Ah, but judging from last time, all Giants stuff will basically be retired/discontinued on that day, meaning LC Hex will be retired the same day she comes out? That makes no sense. Hence my prediction that she'll be out earlier.

Besides, the "never before" thing is already a lie from the start, she's in Australia. This is one of those "skirting the truth" lies. In this case I figure the skirting is that WHEN THE AD CAME OUT she hadn't been seen in North America yet. They can still release her later, which is what I think they planned to do, I'm just waiting for them to do it.

SSA stuff is still shipping out occasionally. Why would they discontinue Giants stuff as soon as SWAP Force launches?

They probably will be producing Giants until January-February. They'll retire S2s earlier.

I think in the last couple of months Activision has really pushed out all back stock of SA and Giants because they know there isn't going to be the shelf space to cover 3 years worth of Skylanders games figures. I hope stores don't just completely drop the Giants figures though. I was in ToysRUs today for only 5 minutes and two people were buying the starter packs for $30 on sale. It would suck to have just bought the game but not have any access to the figures two months down the road. Now that we have a complete list of the Swap Force characters it appears only about 1/3 of them are going to possibly be compatible with the Giants game.

When I first saw Giants in the store, a couple of days after it was released, there was exactly ZERO merchandise on the shelves from SSA. That's what I meant by "pretty much retired/discontinued". The figures still existed, but they got nearly no shelf space in favour of Giants stuff (not counting Starter Packs and Adventure Packs, and even so...). All the pegs will have Swap Force figures, leaving no pegs for Giants figures anymore.

That's why there are reposes. EXACTLY for this reason.

I think she will appear with pumpkin eye-brawl. Halloween is a major holiday here in the states, I can see these being holiday themed releases and advertised to work with swap force. I do think she will be out also as long as wave 1 of swap force, heck for all we know she could be in a wave one swap force assortment,(not-likely but hey activison has been surprising us with gnarly and pumpkin if he's true)

Sorry, but I don't think we'll see LC Hex until Oct. If they sold them early and couldn't fulfill all pre-orders with the free figure then they run the risk of Bait & Switch lawsuits. I'm still up for speculation on how rare she will be afterwards. Probably 2nd most expensive LC figure.

Ya, I wrote that when I woke up. I don't know what i was thinking. I forgot about Flocked too.
I'm a bit worried LC Hex will be as limited as Polar was, but i guess we'll just have to wait and find out how rare she becomes. The stores in my local area never got LC Pop Fizz or LC Chill either, so those figures may go up too.

Although the offer stipulates that supply can not be guaranteed ... given the heavy promotion by Toys R Us and Target (and others I think, too) for the Swap Force pre-order bundle with Lightcore Hex ... I HIGHLY doubt that Lightcore Hex will be limited in quantity/availability anywhere even close to the relatively small number of Polar Whirlwinds that were shipped in the USA.
