Me, I honestly think this one goes to Spidey. Yes, Batman is intelligent and he has technology, AND he's a master strategist, but so is Spider Man. Combine that with the fact that Spidey actually has superpowers, and it's honestly no contest. Batman is very good at planning things out, but that's also his major downfall; he has to PLAN everything, whereas Spidey can think on his toes at a moment's notice. Yes, Batman DID defeat Superman, but only because Superman has a known weakness, whereas Spidey does not. Before you say that Spider Man can only "shoot webs" and that ability is "useless", keep in mind that his webs are stronger than steel chains, not even Hulk can escape them. Plus he also has super speed, super agility, and super strength. In fact, he ALWAYS holds back just a little bit because of his strict moral code about not killing people. If he were to hit someone with his full power as hard as he could, their body would probably disintegrate. Lastly, there's his Spider Sense. Batman is well known for taking his opponents by surprise and then defeating him, but the Spider Sense always lets Spidey know when danger is approaching. So technically, it's impossible to take Spider Man by surprise.

But hey, that's just my view. Let's see yours.

Batman.Sure he has to plan everything, but when he does, he can do anything, have Spider Web radars, Spiderman Radars, etc.Batman also has a database on how he would defeat every superhero.Batman is also quite unpredictable.Who expects to get struck by a Luxurious Black Car?Who expects to get blown off their toes?He dosen't have superpowers, yes, but he's a master of pretty much everything.Also, Batman could somehow disable the spider sense, breaking it, disabling it, hitting Spiderman brain or something.

Good points, but that last part is false. Spiderman also has super durability, so any attack Batman could try on his head would be ineffective, not even SHOOTING him in the head would work. The only person who could avoid the Spider Sense was Venom, and that was because of the symbiote. So unless Batman could get a hold of the symbiote and find a way to control it (which is impossible), that really wouldn't happen.

I agree with Metallo greatly. Both are very smart. Spidey invented his own web shooters. Batman would be a tough opponent for him, I don't deny it. However, Spidey is VERY agile, that combined with his spidey sense would allow him to avoid many of Batman's attacks. Batman is strong, yet Spidey is too. However if Spidey ran out of web cartridges, it could prove especially hard for him. This is the kind of battle I see going for some time, yet Spider-Man ultimatly winning. As mentioned, Spidey has no known weakness leaving Batman as stuck trying to either tire him out or simply guess movement patterns. The problem being Spidey is quite resillient and somewhat unpredictable especially due to his ability to think on his feet and change strategies on a whim to fit his needs.

Well it depends on the battle. If Batman knows about the battle already he will make plans to defeat Spiderman. But if Spiderman just attacked him then Batman would lose because he wouldn't know what to do just like his first battle with Bane. Also if Batman tried to use the dark Spiderman would use his Spider Senses against Batman.
