When will Swap Force release date be announced? [CLOSED]

How long before the game comes out does Activision usually announce the release date? If it comes out in October, that is only two months away. Seems strange to me to not have a release date yet. When did they announce Giants date last year?

The official release date is October 13th. I believe it was announced around when E3 began.

The fact you don't know tells me how bad their marketing REALLY is. I've seen very little from Activision directly to get everyone excited. Maybe we'll start seeing it in September. Not holding my breath.

Agreed... It's 10/13 everyone... my kids all have the Swap Force posters on their walls. I don't have the heart to tell them they'll have to wait longer because we're getting a PS4.

I get this a bit. However, things are a bit different this time because we have Infinity coming out in a few weeks. My guess would be is they are not wasting money on advertising right now because of the fact that it is coming out. It might be a waste to spend money with that coming out and really advertise heavily with it.

Isn't it going to be on that system too? Or do you mean getting a PS4 INSTEAD of Swap Force?

I think they are referring to swap force being released before the PS4

Ya i think he/she means that they plan to buy swap force for the ps4, yet swap force is out 10/13 and the ps4 is like dec/jan.

That's exactly what I mean... Swap Force PS4 version comes out after 10/13... my kiddos will NOT want to wait that long

Activision's own website isn't even updated with that release date, they say "Fall 2013":
