Hi guys please share you caving moments when you finally decide that you will break your limit to buy your missing collection skylanders with higher price...

My one just happen recently in one morning after 3 months hunting the same figure checking ebay, amazon, local site, store site visit... I finally cave to pay extra 20 bucks on top of my limit for ssa legendary triple pack and a blue bash... I feel happy to get the missing ones but at the same time guilty of breaking my own limit...

Share your weak moments so we all can be stronger

I've never had one. Every figure I've got has been purchased at retail or given to me. Well, aside from the packaged Dark Spyro - paid a little more, but that was pretty much for shipping from overseas.

Most of the variants, except Clear Stealth Elf, the Gold variants, and the Rock variants.

I've spent about $770 on variants. And if I need to get the Purple ones, $900 more! <_>

I finally caved and bought S1 Zap and Boomer off ebay. I didn't want to spend more than retail for either of them but I was tired of looking at my incomplete collection. Im pretty sure the same thing is going to happen with the SSA Legendary 3 pack...

Oh no! No S1 Zap. I was trying to get that one off of Ebay too. You probably grabbed it from me. It is the last one I need to complete my collection. Until Swap Force obviously.

Oh no! Im sorry. If it makes you feel any better, the back leg was broken off and the seller hadn't posted about that in the auction... Thankfully the leg was with the figure still, otherwise I would have literally broken down and cried, haha. Luckily I was able to fix it. He seems to be going down in price though, at least loose anyway.

Darklight Crypt.

I gave up on finding the set in stores and resorted ot other means. Getting each piece loose.

Time Twister & Magic Elixir: $6 each (second-hand shop)
Darklight Crypt piece: $21 (eBay)

And I still have yet to get Ghost Roaster. I try not to spend more than retail for a figure, yet for this set I'm just hoping I don't go over $50. (I'll need to get for $17 or less)

Polar WW from italy, Scarlett from germany? But those were because of S/h.
SA legendarys I paid a couple more dollars than retail, Gnarly I got with a starter pack from Amazon for $40.

Paid $25 for Gill Runt, but had to have him. Our last name is Gill, and weve played more with Gill Grunt s1 & s2 than any others lol. We're looking forward to his s3, and hope he gets a varient or legendary.

We bough about 20 of SA and 20 of SG used for $3 each and the rest at retail,. We collect everyone except for the chase varients so its worked out pretty well.

I know the feeling those two were a pain in the butt.

SSA wise:
Got boomer and zap sealed for my sealed collection- boomer for $60, zap i think $40 (i wanted the us peg style so i paided more), wanted to finish them gave up looking for them. Got another used boomer for play for $30 and payed around $15 for a new wreckingball series 1. Got a European dark spyro single for $34. Whamshell clear I payed an arm and leg for but he's my fav skylander so I dealt with it.

Giants wise:
Everything giants wise I've found at retail, the cheapest one I got was Ninjini for FREE at the NYC giveway, which I still have sealed . I spent around $37 for the glow in dark fright rider. Then there are the chase variants.... and i'll leave it at that

I caved and bought the SSA sidekicks for around $100 AU and also cave and bought Scarlett and Polar for about $80 AUD and I will probably cave and buy the the Giant kicks as well unless I can find someone to trade with.

I have exactly the same moments wih my SSA legendary triple... Have been staring at screen for months until i decided to cave... Now my last weak point is only with granite crusher...

Once I get the SSA Legendary pack, my next weak point will be Granite Crusher as well, and whenever I decide I'm going to order Legendary Stealth Elf.. Ugh, so mad at myself for not being into this craze when it started lol.

My weak spots seem to come from trying to buy these when i have no money. Just two nights ago i did a favor for my ex in exchange for the dragons peak adventure pack i saw at walmart, its super rare in my area, so when i saw it i carried it around the store with me until my ex got there & he bought it for me. i gave him an old video game of mine in exchange. our son is very much inlove with sunburn. worth it.

I'm caving in to get the blurple variants....and the Pumpkin Eye Brawl...hoping this is it because I can't wait to withhold my money in Swap Force.

I did the same.

I paid $100AU on eBay for all 4, but then before they arrived I bought a second set for $20AU each.

Shameful, and I still have them.

One of the kindly posters above offered to get the Giants Sidekicks for cost, which was very nice I must say.
