I never thought about "time traveling" before but I decided to try it. Here is what I saw:

Grill Chop-Chop is the new alter ego (as we assumed), but the big news is all the alter egos will be top prizes through the 4th.

Double hero points for all Skylanders through the 4th.

There was an info graphic that said Gnarly Tree Rex would be free next week.

There was also a special for bonus items for buying gem packs, but not as big ad the other biggies.

So it seems the biggest thing is going to be the chance to get the other alter egos. Which is only good if you have a lot of wish stones saved up or are very lucky. I've saved up 200, so far, so here's hoping...

Yay! Hopefully I can get the two that I lost when my first account error 13'd several months ago!

Top prizes are very unreliable. Its not like wishing is a way to get shrines.

Not sure if I will dump in extra stones vs buying another hall of legends.

I will gladly use my 650ish stones if there is a chance.

Not a great way to get shrines, but I've gotten two. I think both were after I'd won the grand prize and was randomly throwing stones. I got Grill Master with about 120 stones.

LOL I love those burgers! They make me hungry, which is a little alarming considering they are trolls.

Managed to get Cupid Flameslinger and Grill Master Chop Chop out of the wishing well Unfortunately I was unable to get Lucky Boomer He's the only other Alter Ego I need. I spent my last 100 stones trying to get him. |< ah well. Time to save stones for next month!

I got Lucky Boomer and Grillmaster Chop Chop and a bunch of other random stuff. Still need to get Hoppity Pop Fizz. Hopefully I get lucky in the next few days.

I got ChopChop after 170 stones. I got 2 chompie snowmen (my first time) and 60,000 coins once plus the normal decor, etc. I can't decide about trying to win Lucky Boomer...

Damn it, I spent 200 stones yesterday in a Hall of Legends. Now I only have 300 stones to win the alter-egos.
Good to see the "nothing to see here "burgers. Caught two this morning.

Hopefully it doesn't take you 300 stones as you'd have to be extremely unlucky to blow that many and not win Grill Master Chop Chop. I was in the same boat with 500 Wishin' Stones but I waited until today to make sure I won the Alter Ego first. It took me 174 and after that I bought another Hall. Now I amass another war chest for next month!

Yup, got him with 201 stones, along with one fishery and two max gold prizes.

I just spend 196 stones and got 60k 4times a cocoa stand, lucky boomer, Cupid flame slinger and grill master

Is it just me, or would Grill Master Ghost Roaster make more sense. We already have Legendary Chop Chop, do we need a third?

Actually, I thought Ignitor would make more sense with the flames coming out of his head But I get your idea of Ghost Roaster. But with Chop Chop, they easily replaced his shield with a grill lid and his sword with a grilling fork, so it's kind of neat.

BTW, here is my experience with the wishing well:

I got three 55,000 gold rewards & a Tech Sculpture before getting Cupid Flameslinger at around 50 stones. I then got a Tavern at about 80 stones and another Tech Sculpture at around 100 and finally Grill Master Chop Chop at around 107 (I'm guessing at my initial amount, as I forgot to check). After that, I spend another 100 and only got one 55,000 gold reward and a bunch of junk. Getting the alter ego so early made me consider just saving up for a Hall of Legends, but I wanted to take my chances on getting the other alter egos, but I was doing worse after getting Chop Chop, so maybe your luck gets really bad after. Since there is no luck meter to help you, I wonder what the odds will be of people getting the other alter egos after getting GM Chop Chop. Since I've already spent my extra 100, and I usually don't get the alter ego for a few days, anyway, I don't mind putting all my earned wish stones into the well until the 4th to see. Hopefully, they'll keep up the hamburger trolls so we can get more wish stones.

If I have already won Grill master, am I wasting my stones by throwing them in still hoping for other alter-ego's. I still haven't gotten Hoppity or Lucky & every time I throw a stone it just gives me crap like barrels & hay bales. It seems like maybe you could only win the others whilst the luckometer was still active prior to winning Grilled Chop. Has anyone won a previous alter-ego after getting the grill man?

According to some of the loading screen messages, it is still possible to win top prizes after you win the grand prize. But I have not heard of anyone winning an old alter ego after Grillmaster.

And since they refer to the retired Alter Egos as "top prizes" then I guess it is possible.

I've won 2 60,000 coins and a cocoa stand on 100 gems after Grill master Chop Chop. I've got over 100 stones left so I guess I'll try some more.

Confirmed. I spent 160 stones to get a fishery, bakery and eventually GM Chop Chop. AFTER the well wiped the luck meter, I threw in another hundred stones (all I had). I got Lucky Boomer after about 95 of those hundred stones. Every stone I get till the 4th I'll also throw in the well chasing the other alter egos. After the 4th, there's plenty of time to save up for September's alter ego.

I just spent approximately 180 stones to win Grill Master...

I won 5 Top Prizes: 3 60k gold, a Bakery and a Chompy Snowman.

That means you win Top Prizes at approximately 3-4% chance.

There are ~21 Top Prizes so if you win a Top Prize you have a ~5% chance to win one of the alter egos ***I**** top prizes are awarded evenly. I don't believe they are because 60k is awarded very often and the frequency that myself and others win Fisheries. After many months of wishing, ~1k stones, I've won exactly 1 shrine. So I very much doubt the top prizes are awarded evenly. I would hazard a guess that 50% of the time you win 60k gold and the other 50% an item, but that certain items are rarer than others.

Take Home: If you spend 100 stones, you will likely win ~3 Top Prizes and have a very low chance (probably much less than 10%) chance of winning one of the alter egos at each spin.

Personally, I wonder what they are up to. If you follow the trends of the daily offers and the messages I think they try to trick people into running out of things so that they can offer something that will cause people to want to get them quickly (i.e buy gems/stones). Note how they floated the message you can still win Top Prizes by Wishing (i.e try to get people to drain their stones) and then this weekend they include alter egos. So the question is, is this weekend event where they want people to buy stones or is that coming? I am still waiting for the Super Tuesday event where items that cost gems can be bought with wish stones.

I spent about 120 stones after Grill master Chop Chop. In the 20 since my last post I got 2 60,000 coins again then finally I got Lucky Boomer!

I had a similar theory from when they added the Hall of Legends which is also the same time that they increased the number of stones needed to fill the luck meter. It's like they didn't anticipate players building up reserves of stones and not squandering them on spins after winning the Alter Ego which in turn would affect their IAPs. So now they're throwing some stone-sinks into the economy as well as making it more difficult to win the Alter Ego. This month was the first time that I hit the final bubble on the luck meter before winning the Alter Ego.

I got lucky boomer, hoppity pop fizz, and buddy wrecking ball after grill master

Had a pretty good run this time. Won my first shrine in the well (fire shrine) after 40 stones! Then won a tavern after 58 stones and finally grill master chop chop after 178 stones. I'm going to keep going for the two alter egos I missed earlier in the game.

I doubt you can. The reason they are waiting until next week is to wait to put him in with next week's update. So it won't be available, yet.

I won Grill Master Chop Chop after about 130 Stones. I also won 60,00 Gold, 1 Easter Egg Basket and 4 Pumpkins.

I also found one group of Hamburger Trolls, so far.

To the folks that are winning alter egos...

How do you spin? Do you wait for the alter egos to cycle around so they are displayed or do you just spin?

I don't think that matters at all. However, if you're worried about it, you can cycle the prizes by hitting the pic of the top prize.

I pumped in 295 stones (and 10 gems-grrr) and got 60k x3, chop chop, 1 tavern and 2 bakeries. I was bummed. About 4 hours later, my game crashed and brought me back before my wish-Athon. I was pissed at first.

Then I redid my wishathon and have gotten 60kx5, Cupid, fire shrine, tavern and chop chop with 70 to go.

I had 82 stones saved up and I got 3 45,000 gold rewards and Hoppity Pop Fizz! Still need Cupid, Buddy, and Lucky along with Chop-Chop!

I got lucky boomer at around 50 stones, and chop chop at 196. Got 60,000 coins 4 times, a life shrine and a LOT of decorations. Too many to use.
Glad they did the past alt egos again. I was holding on to gems in case they offered lucky boomer like the did flameslinger.

LOL so while y'all are super hyped over already winning Grill Chop Chop and the others, spending like 600 stones, I'm all proud of myself for getting Firework Zook with 7 days left and I saved up 55 stones to try adding up my luck. The only top prize I got were fireworks.

How many stones did u use? I got chomp chomp with about 120 and used another 150 in the hopes of wining Cupid flame slinger (as he is the only alter ego I am missing)

The bonus item offer has changed so now you get an Adventure Airship with Gem Pack 3.

I tried waiting on the cycle and it didn't seem to matter. When I finally won Lucky Boomer he wasn't displayed as the top prize.

I won three sculptures (two water, one undead) and 55,000 gold one time.

I've gone through about 120 stones in the last couple days; I've won the $60k four times, lots of shrubs and trees and shrines (as usual), but no alter egos or shrines. I have 100 stones left; hope my luck turns. I've gotten all the alter egos since I've been playing, but it always takes a while.

I wonder, does time of day seem to make any difference, or is it completely random?

I've been throwing Stones like a drunken sailor. It took about 190 stones to get the Grill Master. Since then, I've thrown about 400 stones into the well, and got an earth shrine (along with the gold, the decorations, a few taverns and bakeries). No alter ego's, no giant or alter-ego houses, nothing like I'm looking for.

I'll keep throwing them until bedtime. After that, not so much!

I won 55,000 gold yesterday and today I just got Buddy Wrecking Ball! I wasn't expecting to get two Alter Ego's this weekend!!

You're going to hate me for this, but after three months of poor wishing, I saved my stones and finally hit the jackpot. I spent about 450 stones. GM Chop Chop, Buddy Wrecking Ball, Lucky Boomer, Hoppity Pop Fizz, three fisheries, two bakeries, a cocoa stand, an egg basket and a fire shrine. And $60,000 quite a few times (wasn't counting).
I missed Cupid Flameslinger, but you can't win them all. I'm so glad I held off buying my first Hall of Legends. Those extra stones really paid off.
