Once I hit level 35, I finally got to sit back and let the gold rack up a bit. With no need to collect experience anymore, I began to amass new Skylanders, gold, wishstones and energy. That allowed me to maximize my landscape for high-Mabu capacity housing per square, and reclaim some terrain for fun.

Thanks! Yes, that is Trigger Happy making his way through. I found the maze gave me a few laughs as I watched the dropped-in Skylanders wander aimlessly about it. The Giants are so tall, it always appeared as if they were cheating by looking over the walls though.

O.o Goodness, how did you get like 2 million energy? Teach me your ways, oh awesome one *-* I'm like 70k gold from getting my 5th island. I'm a bit of an amateur

A lot of Skylanders doing adventures, maximizing "Special" or "Legendary" ones in the Sanctuaries for bigger payouts, and always planting Domedelion. Just be efficient in what you do. Enjoy your island unlocking, I miss those!

I gave each island a different theme with different plants and architecture.

For instance,

the undead island has dead trees and pumpkins
The Water island has wells
The earth island is all rocky and
I also put the troll prison on an island w/o an elemental sanctuary.

I did similar.

My undead island is all pumpkins and dead things and strongholds and the troll prison.
Fire island has things like bakeries and candle makers and blacksmiths stone houses and pillars.
Earth has the mines and outposts.
Life has acorn houses and trees and tree rex's statue.
Water has fisheries, light houses, cocoa stands, water works, chompie snowmen, and palm trees.
Tech has the sheep shearer (looks like the enterprise to me), theater, factory, etc.
Magic has library and apothocary.
