I went to Kohl's and saw they had a small amount of Skylanders.
There was a Pop Fizz triple pack and the pack was cut open and someone stole the Pop Fizz in it and left the Whirlwind and Trigger Happy.

My local Kohl's doesn't have any. I know of one that does, however.

I saw that at Target--except it was a punch pop removed!

I went to Walmart today to buy some chips for some fellow forum members and found a left over black friday Skylanders Giants Xbox 360. It had a strategically torn section taken out of the box where the Green Gill Grunt used to be. They were still selling it for full price though.

They prob don't realize that the gill grunt is missing. I saw about a month ago a walmart giants starter for the xbox360 with a normal cyn when it was surpsoe to have the glow in dark one.

I've also seen a wii blue with gnarly but instead it had regular red tree rex, this was back in feb/march.

I bet people bought them, switched out the figures and then returned it. It is crazy the lengths people will go to get some of these figures. I remember this specific Xbox was outside of the locked shelf for a long time just sitting near the electronics register. Today when I saw it there was a gaping hole in the box and it was locked up in the glass.

I saw a 3DS Starter with all the wrong Skylanders in it.
A Battlegrounds Starter with S1.5 Double Trouble torn out.
A S2 Trigger Happy cardboard back BEFORE Giants was released.

Did you buy the 3DS with the wrong skylanders in it? That would be a neat error

It wasn't an error; it was resealed.

Kinda like your story but different.
I returned it to the clerk so nobody can sell it.
Weird thing was that it was a pearl Hot Head.

Well they said they had no skylander giant hot head figures in stock.
They said I could have it because they cant sell it being opened and all.
But I said no thanks and that they should keep it just in case someone wants him because he is VERY rare.
I could have sold it for cash and get more skylanders.
But I decided not to take it for free and let them do whatever they want with him.
Nicest thing ever done this week.

Oops, meant the S:SA 3DS. Wrecking Ball, Stealth Elf, and Sonic Boom.

I've seen a dark spyro removed from a 3ds pack.

Ive seen a 3ds with a regular spyro. I almost bought it too till i realized he was suppose to be darker with silver wings.

Hmm--free hot head sparkle and you refused? I have a hard time picturing that-from anybody who likes Skylanders. If my son found that it'd be hard to get out of his hands.

Well I don't mind missing varients.
If I picked it up then someone else wouldn't
I am fine with my normal one

I don't think my local Kohl's has them, but that's an interesting find for sure!!
