Alyx shook her head.
"Just Matilda taunting me." She said worriedly.

Lila put a paw on Alyx's shoulder and replied, "Don't let her get to you." "I'm here for you, all the way."

Scott tried to catch a scent, but found nothing. "What on earth is happening to me?" He thought. "I'm usually so focused."

Alyx smiled.
"Thanks Lila."

Matilda had run after Scott.
"Hey. You okay?" She asked.

While Wandering around, Moonlight stumbled upon a place with a river, pine trees and mountains. She decided to make this beautiful area her home.

Scott turned and looked at Matilda. "Yeah, I'm alright." He replied. "I'm just so unfocused for some reason."

Lila replied, "No problem."

OOC: For a second, I thought Scott had a crush on Matilda.

Matilda laughed.
"Why would you be unfocused? That's not like you."

Alyx smiled.
"You're a good friend."

OOC: Maybe he does.... Hehehehehehehe....

"I don't know," Scott replied. "It's never happened before."

"Thanks, you are too." Lila replied, and added, "We should find a place to sleep for the night."

Matilda laughed.

"Thanks. Trojan will let us stay here. How about that?" Said Alyx.

"That sounds good." Lila replied. "And finally, we'll be able to sleep for a night without worrying about being attacked."

"I can't find any food in this area." Scott said. "Usually there's at least something out by now."

Matilda scented the air.
"But I can smell bison over there..." She said.

"Well you guys don't have any attacks to worry about...just me." Said Alyx.

"That's good." Scott replied. "Let's go get some and bring it back for the others."

Matilda nodded and pointed with her muzzle at a stray bison calf.

Delgato opened his eyes and blinked.

Trojan smiled.
"Hey Delgato."

Scott got as close as he dared to the bison calf without it noticing. He then jumped on its back, knocking it to the ground.

Matilda raced in to help finish it off.

"Thanks." Scott said, helping Matilda drag it back to Trojan's den.

Trojan greeted them with a smile.

Alyx headed in the cave with Lila.

Moonlight was tired. She curled up under a strange and large rock.

Lila laid down in the cave, exhausted.

Scott put the buffalo down at the entrance and waited for the others to take their share. He saw Delgato awake and said, "How ya feeling?" "You didn't look good."

Delgato smiled.
"Good. You didn't get badly injured, did you?"

Alyx and Matilda walk to the buffalo and eat their share. Alyx sets some meat by Delgato before going to lay down to sleep.

OOC: I have a surprise coming.

Moonlight decided to take another walk. She sprinted out of her "secret" area.

"No, I'm okay." Scott said. A few scratches, nothing serious."

OOC: Oooh.. a surprise. This should be interesting.

Delgato nods. He eats the meat and then sighs.
"We should all get some sleep now."

OOC: As soon as everyone's asleep, Matilda surprise coming.

OOC: OOOHHHHH.......

Scott nodded and went over to lay by Lila, who was already asleep.

Alyx and Delgato fell asleep, Trojan soon after.

Matilda checked to make sure everyone was asleep before she got up quietly and began padding silently towards Alyx.

Scott was restless, but stayed asleep.

Delgato began to awake. He saw a figure paddin toward Alyx and shot to his paws. The cave was filled with snarls and then a yelp and a thud followed by paws running away.

Scott woke up and the sound of a yelp and shook Lila awake. "What happened!?" Lila said with alarm.

Delgato lay on the ground, injured even more than before.

Trojan stood beside Delgato, his lip raised in a snarl as he growled one word.
"Matilda."

Lila stood and stumbled over to Delgato. "I'll help Trojan with Delgato." She said. "You go find Alyx and Matilda." Scott nodded and took off.

Alyx was pinned down by Matilda. Alyx tried snapping her jaws at Matilda, but Matilda just dodged. Matilda raked her claws across Alyx muzzle and redied the killing blow.

"NO!!" Scott screeched, crashing into Matilda and sinking his teeth into her side.

Matilda yelped in surprise an kicked Scott off her. She was better skinny and boney, but a stroganoff and well trained fighter. With a snarl, she tackled Scott.

Scott was easily thrown to the ground, but raked his claws across Matilda's stomach. He was fast and strong, but acted rashly at times, and this was one of them. "Alyx, get out of here!" He yelled as best he could. He had no idea how to take Matilda down, but sank his teeth into her leg.

OOC: I hate typos. Grrrr.

Alyx shook her head.
"I won't run!" She woofed.

Matilda snarled and sunk her teeth into Scott's shoulder.

OOC: since Matilda is boney, Scott could easily break her leg.

OOC: Hmmm.... Interesting....

Scott's shoulder howled with pain, but he did not release his grip. He clamped down harder and used his back legs to try and kick Matilda off balance.

Matilda heard a slight cracking sound. She clawed Scott's muzzle to free her paw, which as she thought, had broken. She felt no pain and was completely silent. With a snarl, she limped off painfully only to collapse a little ways away where she just lay, breathing softly.

Scott struggled to his feet and went over to Alyx. "Are you alright?" He asked. He looked over at Matilda, keeping an eye on her.

Alyx nodded.
"I'm fine. Are you okay?"

Matilda lets out a low painful howl at the full moon in the sky.

"As good as I can be, I guess." Scott replied. He went over to Matilda, but not close enough that she could reach him. "What were you thinking?" He snarled. "Why would you do this?!"

OOC: Scott doesn't know that Alyx and Matilda are sworn enemies.

OOC: alright. I have to go to bed.

Matilda snarls.
"We're enemies alright?"

OOC: I was just about to say the same thing! It was a good RP tonight!

"But why!?" Scott growled. "I mean, I know she attacked you before we came here, but.."

OOC: It was a great RP!

Matilda snarls again.
"I was part of Trojan's gang! We always beat up Alyx when she was a pup. But one day, Trojan had me attack her, then he had a change of heart and jumped in the way, blocking the attack and clawing me, leaving this scar across my left eye. I thought I could finish her now, today, when everyone was sleeping, but her stupid brother got in the way. I took off in order to try not to injure him, but he was pinning me down with his strength so I had to claw him a few times. Alyx chased me, so in a way, I set up a trap on the go."

Kargolo the bent his front legs. His ankle was stuck under a fallen branch. It twisted and bent, giving him pain. He winced, then bowed his neck down to grab the thick twig from his skinny leg. He threw it into the bushes beside him.
"Pain...Grr." He hissed, sniffing the air for any nearby vermin.
"Wolf. A tasty snack for something as hungry as me." And with that, he flapped his huge wings (wingspan 5-10 metres) and sent the leaves of the trees fluttering away. He flew into the skies above to find the Hunting Packing Wolves.

OOC: Fan Of Skylands, I read your form and as I looked at the last part, the other part, I realize that Matilda is injured right now with her broken leg.

As Kargolo landed on a large, desolate mountain, he spied on some Hunting Packing Wolves, crowding around something. This was his chance. He leapt into the air, his front talons latching into the spine of one of the dogs. He shoved it into his great beak, then swooped back down to snatch the others.
