Hi all.....I'm back after a long illness....I have missed a lot....so what is the new most valuable skylander out there?

Those who have been here for a long time know that I have been asking a certain question over and over again.....so in order to keep to tradition I will ask it again.

Who thinks skylanders will be valuable collector items in the future? Or do feel that they already are? Have some rare figures kept there value or gone up in price?

If you Pre-Order from TRU you also get another character at time of pick up for free.

If you Pr-Order from Target the Pre-Order card has a chip inside that will unlock an upgrade in the game.

PRETTY sure the Swap Force pre-orders had to be done by the end of June, I want to say June 29, in order to get Lightcore Hex. Also, this move has convinced most people that this means that LC Hex won't be available again since they advertised something like "Get the never-before available Lightcore Hex". Since this is a lie, she had already been released in Australia, I'm guessing they mean that she was never released before the ad came out.

Of course, it's hard to update you without knowing how long you've been gone or how much you've missed,

As for collectibility, no, not really. While the Skylanders line of games continues, the harder to get and impossible to get figures of course get a higher value, but that's mostly for now. With how much Activision has been abusing the fans, especially returning fans, with Giants, clearly just trying to wring as much money out of us as possible, I think many will decide like me that they've had enough of their underhanded antics and we will not be continuing on to Swap Force. I'm actually predicting that this will be enough to kill the franchise, and we will never see Skylanders 4 as throwing bad money after bad (though this prediction is shakier seeing as it's reportedly already underway).

At the very least, in 10 years time I suspect there won't be any more games, making the super cool electronics function useless, since there won't be any place left to use them (Universe is already gone). Which means they'll be reduced to collectible figures/toys. And only a select few lines make such a legendary status as to have value so much later.

PRETTY sure that Universe will be back.
