Anyone spot any of these out yet? I'm going nuts looking for bash. For the amount of gas i use looking for him i should have just ordered from a scalper but i don't want them to make any money off me. Call me selfish but they are they reason we cant find a lot of what we need.

I have not seen them anywhere. I have not been looking awhole lot lately however. Started school and working full time kind of puts the brakes on the fun stuff.

US hasn't gotten triple 8 and 9 and single jet vac. I think they are holding off for one final push come aug/sept. Prob around the time I think we will see some deals to clear out giants stock to make room for swap force.

They're focused on the Battle Packs.

I was focused on battling something once. It didn't turn out to well. I am not a big fan of the battle packs. I enjoyed the adventure packs more from SSA.

When a character is released in a Triple, he/she most certainly will be included in the Single boxes for that wave.

IMO, all of these gimicky battle items stink, regardless of it being in a battle pack or an adventure pack. At least in an adventure pack you get additional content.

That is why I like the Adventure packs better. The actual items you get were better. You got a level and some really handy stuff... Treasure Chest or a Healing elixir.

Well I knew that just wasnt sure if there was some boxes of wave 6 out and i missed it somewhere.

I thought bash was already out as a single pack. Just hard to find now. I'm also looking for him

He was, and he's coming back. Much like slambam was and he came back with wave 5.1

The Adventure Packs granted new in-game content ... love that!

The Battle Packs have been a fail by Skylanders standards. Activision has had very few "swings and misses" during the evolution of the Skylanders brand ... but the Battle Packs were a BIG "whiff".

I found single pack Bash at my local Walgreens believe it or not, a few days ago. They carry like 5 skylanders at a time, and when I say 5... I mean 5 separate non duplicate singles. But they usually have H2F ones.

I saw him in 5.1.

I have pics on my phone, of the contents of wave 5.1 boxes, and I can assure you, Bash isn't in it.

Single Pack Jet-Vac still hasn't hit the US apparently, so I assume he's in boxes marked GRW5 (not .1), and I have a feeling Zook and Bash are in there with him, based on the fact they haven't been in boxes since GRW2. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if Ignitor wasn't in there with them.

I still find it odd Triple Packs 8 and 9 haven't released here yet, as well as Single Pack Jet-Vac.

Having missed the boat on the single Bash figure for Giants and getting worried that the 3 pack will never show up I went and bought a used one on Ebay last night. S2 Bash and S1 Zap are the last figures I need to complete my entire set so even though it was $22 bucks shipped I still thought it was worth it. I hate like hell to pay those kid of prices but I have only had to do it for Boomer, Ghost Roaster and now Bash.

Well it seems a single pack of gnarly maybe showing up. I think him coming out for a sale like scarlet did everywhere along with stocks of triple 8 and 9 and singles that ahve been gone since wave one would bea good sale/business move for a last skylander push.

No doubt! Just graduated and took the summer off of both work and school!!!

That's where I found my S2 Bash also.

I saw S2 Bash at my Kohl's.

where in kohl's do they sell skylanders? toys??? cause the one by me doesn't carry them.

Even triple pack 7 barely stayed around long here in the US.

They might show up later like the Camo/Warnado triple pack that was only considered "well-stocked" well into Giants at TRU, but who knows.

I found a recent ebay listing for the bash triple pack but its in pre-order mode. I was hoping the seller would have a date listed but nope. Does that mean we can still hope for a possible release?

Before swap force I'd see s2 bash in best buy all the time, and sometimes at TRU. I saw his triple once at target I believe but that was months ago. I don't see many alternatives other than evilbay.

Those pre-orders for the Bash Triple Pack have been on eBay literally for months, since the middle of the summer. I imagine that the eBay sellers that have posted those pre-order type listings have quite a few disgruntled customers by this point. Just one more example of why paying for a pre-order on eBay is an unintelligent thing to do.

If you're being honest about "seeing s2 Bash all the time" recently, then please know that even if you're being truthful, your experience is very clearly atypical, and may even come across as bragging (whether you intended it or not) to the many people who have expended a great deal of futile effort trying to find Bash in a retail store at any point this year. There is a reason why people are shelling out $30-$50 on eBay for S2 Bash, even in used condition; he IS that hard to locate ... for most people anyway.

^I only saw him on a shelf in the first two weeks of Giants; I was lucky to pick him up then.

This is the truth, those pre-orders on EBay are worthless for determining availability. They are literally people that throw up an auction for something they find out *might* be available, call it a "pre-order", add a made up date then wait for profit. When the figure/thing becomes available at their store, they go buy it at a store and send it to you. You are paying for them to go shopping for you. If the item bets delayed or doesn't come out, they just cite that and go off scott free.

A perfect example is that scalper that used to hang out here, goldbashmaster, he actually admitted he had Molten Hot Dog pre-order auctions up and when Walmart put up the online order he was upset when they cancelled his order of two dozen of them. People were paying him a significant premium to order something off Walmart's website, then re-ship it to them. Think about that next time you go to "pre-order" or buy from a scalper off EBay.

The only typical exception to this rule is when a retailer has an auction up (TRU sometimes does this). But in that case, the auction is almost the same as ordering it off their website. It isn't like they have some special ones for EBay.

As far as Bash, well he has been uncommon. I just saw some s2 Slam Bams the other day, so at least you can get him now. But, like GhostRoaster, I haven't seen Bash in a store for many, many moons. I found my series 2 bash at jcpenny's clearance of them just after xmas (sale prob started before but it's when i noticed them) got him for $4. Never saw hima gain except in like may when some otehrs on here even stated him and flameslinger were showing up for some reason then bam those two were gone again. Bash so far hasnt returned, flameslinger has.

I am hoping like Okaps says in that the end of giants waves will hit somewhere after the full wave 2 or 3 release. Triple pack 8 and 9 do have some use for those joining now. #9 I say has the better use as it has slam bam, hex, and shroomboom, which are all retired figures at this point.

It was pretty reasonable to assume triple packs 8 & 9 were going to come out in NA so I don't see a problem with sellers having preorders for them, at this point they should probably cancel them though as it doesn't look good for them to release in NA. Also not all ebay sellers just go to the store and buy items when they come out, some sellers do that but others do actually run businesses and get stock from suppliers.

By "scott free", I meant without negative feedback. Of course they have to refund the money due to non-delivery. But, they can run these auctions for stuff they don't have and might never find, collect a "this item isn't available" premium, then just buy it and send it to them when it is available. If they never find it, then "sorry the manufacturer didn't deliver" or some other BS. There is no risk for the scalper, either they score or they come out even. You're being very aggressive. I'm not talking about big retailers like TRU, some people run small businesses out of their homes and I'm sure some of them at one point or another offered these packs as preorders expecting them to be released at some point. Just because some guy that's not a multi billion dollar company offers preorders on something that doesn't release doesn't mean he's a scalper.

You know, I have no issue if you do not agree with me. Fine. But, it is getting to be a common occurrence around here where people read the first sentence then start typing their disagreement. You didn't read part of my post, and you read too much out of the part you did read. I did not say "multi-billion dollar company", I simply used TRU as an example. They might be running a retail business out of your basement. But, even then they have no idea about a release date either. If TRU doesn't know the release date, then Bob's EBay Toys doesn't know one either. And they certainly don't know if it is within 30 days, per EBay pre-order policy (any of these "open-ended" pre-orders are actually violations http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/pre-sale.html).

And what makes them a scalper is when they charges a significant amount above retail for their pre-order, not the action of offering a pre-order. The vast majority of these "pre-orders" are people charging a exorbitant amount under the guise of being able to deliver the item. Anyone remember all the Eye Brawl and Thumpback "pre-orders" on EBay last year at this time? Or the guy right now with an auction for all of the unreleased swappers for $45 each.

So mentioning a rule that ebay doesn't even care about is moot. As for the price it's hard for a one man operation to charge retail on ebay as ebay takes a cut, paypal takes a cut, buyers trying to scam you, etc. It's also convenience, you can click BIN and not have to worry about hunting for an item forever and ever and have it delivered to your home. If the packs never come out that's more of a failure on Activisions (or toys for bob) part than the seller selling a preorder that should be seeing a release. I personally don't buy regular figures from ebay at inflated prices but I don't fault people for trying to make a buck.

I didn't assume, you called me out on something that I covered in the text you actually quoted. You also made a leap in logic by assuming that when I said "scott free" it means they get to keep your money.

I fault them, they are selling an item they don't have or a definitive plan or reasonable timeframe to acquire. They are taking advantage of people's insecurities and lack of awareness and charging a premium for a perception of a guarantee that doesn't exist. You can click BIN, and unless you are gullible you should STILL worry if you will ever get it - it isn't Activision's fault someone promised something they had no right to promise. Ask yourself a question, if a big retailer is uncomfortable in offering a pre-order for upcoming figures, then why is it something Joe Sixpack should be doing? If TRU or Gamestop isn't opening pre-orders, then it is likely because they don't have a timeframe or an idea of quantities - because Gamestop in particular loves them some pre-orders.

There has to be some line where we go "hey, that's not ethical" even in a nation filled with rampant pursuit of the almighty dollar. You cannot just wave away the whole thing by saying it is ok since there are people that will buy it. Otherwise we can justify every shady money making venture the exact same way. There is one born every minute.

And just because EBay doesn't actively scan for these things, does NOT mean they do not enforce or care about it. On here there were several people that took to getting these kind of auctions removed and did so successfully last year. Thousands of auctions that violate it just means few have the time to go and report them all and stay on top of it.

I gave up on finding Bash, and just bought him yesterday off Ebay. It is one of the top 3 things on my 7 year old's DS's Christmas list. You all would appreciate this. His top three most wanted things: Swap Force, Series 2 Bash, and Dark Spyro. He will be a happy boy on Christmas.

Yes, I personally do appreciate this. Every time I see some knucklehead justify scalping because people "have an option" and "no one is forcing them to buy", this exact sort of thing comes to mind. I'm sure some might tell you that "kids can't have everything", but I'm a Dad too and I understand wanting kids to have something they really want for Christmas. It isn't unreasonable. It isn't entitlement. Too bad there are people that think scalping $30+ off of you for a $10 toy is just fine. I do not.
