How much are you guys gonna spend?

Not nearly that much. Just the starter pack(s) and MAYBE a couple figures. Black Friday (late November) here in the U.S. is a great hunting day for Skylanders at very low prices and finding good deals. I'll hold out one month and then spend a little more on the Varianator's Christmas come Black Friday!

I will probably spend about that much as well, haha. I'm trying to save as much money as I possibly can between now and Oct 13 so that way I won't have to make a choice about which skylanders to get and which I have to put back because I don't have enough money.

Gpoing hit th stores on day one looking for variants and getting everything I can find. Then set aside some for xmas, some for my kids birthday in feb and whatever is left i'll either return or see if any aunts/uncles etc want to buy them off me for gifts.

3DS Game
(possibly Wii Game, though it'll probably wait for one of the various sales where it's like $20 or something).

At a minimum, all the store exclusives that are released that I can grab.

Most likely all the first release figures if there's a good sale. Otherwise, I'll wait.

Good idea with the variant hunting day one, I don't want to go through another Granite Crusher hunt (Target ran out day one and never replenished), plus it'll be fun. I think we'll do that!

I think this is skylander overload.I'm trying to get S2/S1 variants,and now S3 hunting?

I know that my Mom is going to kill me for this , but ill plan on spending about 350 bucks on day one.

Whatever it takes to get one of each figure, the Wii U version, and the 3DS version. Price isn't an object; we're having a baby the week before, and a whole bunch of new Skylanders might be just what his older brother needs to get over his early jealousy. ... And besides, who am I kidding, I would get them all anyway.

if i have my way it'll be $500 so i dont feel like a weirdo driving around all day wasting gas looking for figures i cant find right away i'd like a little break for the holidays besides the black friday only figures and the next waves.

Not sure what's being released, but definitely the game itself and any of the new landers. I'm going to stay off of chase variants and reposes this time around unless Vicarious has brought their A game in content.

For the guys I am planning to buy, I plan on buying 5 of each.

Whatever it takes to pay for -

1: At least 5 copies of the home console game and 3 copies of the 3DS game
2: 4 of every Skylander released on day 1
3: 18 of each Swaplander

Probably nothing. I'll be buying Pokemon Y the day before and i just dont have the want to throw that much dosh down in two days.

If there's any store exclusives like Granite Crusher i'll probably pick that up.
I'll get the wii u version sometime in the following weeks and then 3ds version on black friday. if they dont do a deal this year i'll just wait til christmas for 3ds version then.

I'll be driving around all day, and hold my reciepts for price adjustments later on. I havent decided yet if I am opening the game or holding it as an xmas gift. Idk if the wife and I can hold off giving the game to him for xmas. Maybe give him the wiiu and hold off on the 3ds till xmas. /Shrug.

I have £70 right now which I am gonnw get Series 2 Drobot and a game out of.
Depends how much I get paid in August, September and October because I am gonna get SSF as a early Christmas present and I am gonna but another game. I will see have much I have left on toys whoever is left I get November/December.

If Walmart has a midnight realize ill go there, to get early grabs since its a Sunday and I have church. After that I'm heading to an area with 1 Target, 1 Toys R Us, 2 Bestbuys, and a GameStop, heading back home and going to my local GameStop. By that time I will have spent all my Skylanders Fund.

I'll be hitting walmart the night of, only plan on grabbing store exclusive and 360 version, we have xbox one version preordered, Will grab 3DS version on black friday. Also friend of mine is manage of gamestop so once they get in their initial shipment, They'll call and let me know whats in the boxes. I ignored Gaints till 1 month after release, How far in advance will we know about store exclusives?
