I've decided to sit down with the portal of power and introduce all the figures in the hope of getting some gems back. Well I can't remember what I have paid for.

What does it mean when it just gives me energy? Is this for introducing the figure to the game or am I getting energy instead of gems because it does not happen every time.

If you won the character in the lottery or by a spin of the new wheel, you get energy. If you paid gems, you get gems. If you put in a webcode, I don't think you get anything unless it's a new version (series 1 vs. series 2 vs. lightcore).

Oh, and if he's brand new, you get energy for introducing him to the game.

I have had no gems from Bouncer's House or my legendary lounge for nearly two weeks.

It is nearly impossible to get gems.

I have been through everything for a big fat 0 gems.

I did try to buy only skylanders that were unavailble in Australia so no real surprise.


It was still worth checking.

Sorry but I have to respectfully disagree. Of all the freemium games I've tried, Lost Islands is one of the most generous with ways to gain in-game currency. (Well, if you don't count referral schemes like Tapjoy.) Obviously it helps a lot if you already have some skylanders, but you get gems for levelling up, both kingdom and skylanders, gems for completing tasks, gems from giant/alter ego/legendary houses, gems from friends' gifts and invitations, and now there is Hyde too. There are lots of ways to get gems.

I got refunded gems when using the Bluetooth portal to use Camo. I paid gems for him a while ago
