  • Beer is the oldest human-prepared beverage in the world.
  • Beer was invented in the Middle East. (I bet rednecks don't like that)
  • Beer is the third most popular drink in the world. (after water and tea)
  • Some of the earliest known documents written by humans refer to the distribution and production of beer.
  • In the 17th and 18th centuries, the European colonists in the Americas would drink nothing but beer, because they believed water would make people sick. (Most water sources were dirty, so this was often true.)
  • Moderate consumption of beer can decrease risk of heart attack, stroke, etc.
  • Beer with yeast still intact is a rich source of many nutrients.
  • England is the #1 most beer producing nation in the world. The United States is #4, and Ireland, surprisingly, is #7.

I love to have beer on the weekend.

My favourite alcoholic drink would have to be Newcastle Brown Ale. Delicious stuff!!

If I include any kind of emoticon or other form of text that suggest emotion, it is not meant to be taken seriously. I make very few serious posts.

Not really, that's just so that I wouldn't have to drive 15km to the nearest store to get beer whenever I want some.

I usually drink alcohol once per week.
