Seems Lightning Rod and Wrecking Ball are among this "Cursed" variant as I'm calling it. That means no Whirlwind, Sonic Boom, Jet-Vac, Swarm, Spyro, Pop Fizz, Ninjini, or Double Trouble. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems there are never two kind of chase of the same element. We haven't had a Water chase yet have we? I'm thinking Chill or Gill Grunt may get the final spot in this.

If it is real.... Could only have two of them. Only had two stone or rock variants.

Didn't someone from Activision state they would no longer be making solid color variants such as these as it's too easy to fake? Like the silver and gold variants...

That's jsut it though, it isn't technically solid color. That would mean the eyes would be too. It would be a tad difficult to fully paint the figure while preventing even the tiniest dot of metallic purple paint from getting on the eyes.

It's difficult to paint, re-package, AND change the RFID chip to make the character say something different on the screen or show up as level 5 2100 coin though. I see these like the E3 Hot Dog. Hot Dog might just be the third, all they have to do is take the E3 off the package.

^Again, I'll reserve adding this to any official variant list until I see them on eBay and folks can confirm it's Special status in the game.

I guess the cindysbeans website remove the Violet Wrecking Ball because when i click on it, it say "This product does not exist at Cindy's Beans"

Well, they technically forgot to paint the teeth on the released version as well. Sad.

I used Cindy's Beans once, and I don't trust the site. I will be more inclined to believe this when I see it somewhere else. As to the product's authenticity, these have pretty simple packaging. A high quality printer can be used to reproduce the packaging. I've seen high quality counterfeits in other toy lines. No reason it cannot occur with these as well. (Not that I mean Cindy's Beans is behind it, though.) |
