I actually think that :3 and X3 look better without their own smilie emoticon things.

:3, XP and D: could come up to frequently in regular text to be given emoticons. It's like when people are making a list and they type "B)" for their second point and it comes up as the glasses face.

D: looks pretty good but I don't think XP should be a smilie because someone could by typing EXPERIENCE or something and it would turn out as EERIANCE

You can disable smiles.

You can disable smiles.

It'd still get in the way if you wanted to use smilies but capitalized text as well.

I agree with Ryanator, and other smilies have had that problem before, but you just disable it, and problem solved. And If you don't, people will CLEARLY see the smilie was unintentional.

Meh, still irritates me. I think it's a bad idea.

I might try to improve those when I can.

I'm late, but I think you did a good job on these, I love the XP :3 and X3 smilies. Just that I prefer using the ones we have now.
