We did have some mods that we didnt want because the application system wasnt that good. Anyone can make a good application and do bad at the job.

People are lashing out at him due to his actions recently, and as a moderator he should be able to properly handle that kind of thing. Of course, some people are using small things as their arguments, but a lot of people actually have valid points. Even if you don't think Matteomax deserves to be called out due to his actions, try to look at it from another point of view. And just because people dislike some of the moderator choices doesn't meant they're jealous; people will always have certain concerns about authority. It's just about whether they choose to vocalize what they think or not. But even so, if some people know, they'd pull the jealous card/biased card/whatever on the people no matter what, just only if they have a negative view on some authority figure. Which is, if you think about it, also terrible. I thought we were allowed to have opinions?

Many of us are. Many others don't have a clue on what he's talking about because they have forgotten or weren't there. And many of don't give a crap.

I'd say that 28% of DarkSpyro think the reason he lashes at Mods is because of jealousy.
So I wouldn't worry about people "getting over with". The whole jealousy thing won't be here for long. I thought Metallo knew that. I remember him defending CAV one time when regarding this.

God, get over yourself! Dark is NOT an idiot. He worked hard, and through this he has kept this Forum alive and active since 2004! But, so many people asked for them, and imo, they are fine. It is just users don't get along with them. So they should be removed, but than imo the forum would be worse. But Matteomax's actions prove enough to me he should be put down from his modship. It all went down hill after Wanderist got removed (i know they wanted to but still), ):
