Okay then, this is what I have so far plot-wise:

There was a large genocide (reason not yet decided) and the more common dragons gained up on other types of dragons and killed most of them off. The surviving dragons were forced into hiding, and they had to leave their nests. Almost all the eggs they left behind were smashed by the enemy dragon's, but a few passed their vision and lived, but some were taken by the enemy dragons to raise (reason still in the works).

That's all I have at the moment. *shrug*
