Glitter Hot Head Still Out There? [CLOSED]

I just watch this video today and i notice they found a Glitter Hot head in Walmart and the video was published just last month of June 2013, there so lucky. Maybe other rare variants are still out there?

He's dropped down to $130, I nabbed one for $10 less.

Finding Glitter Hot Head would be so much fun---but it'd just be exciting to find any of the "rare special" figures.

Well.... how do they "get" them? I doubt they find every single one or multiples of one in stores. They probably have to buy them from people. Kind of like how GM has to buy them. Really no big deal. If that is what they want to spend on thats fine.

That's pretty cool- A huge congrats to them- I'm no longer as big into this game as I once was- I sold all the Chase variants I had- regret nothing- I'm glad they bring another more joy than they did with me.

It was a TRU exclusive, and is now discontinued.

He did, but I found it late into Giants.

I was watching him like a hawk when he found it. If I wasn't there, he would've bought it and sold it on eBay, the dirty employee.

This is why I think people are having problems finding variants in stores now. Employees know how much they are worth on-line and are looking for them to try and make a few bucks from them.

it'll be like how you can find some of the rares from s1 now like for giants you could score some of the rares for giants when swap force comes out because of newer stock of giants figures put out. Just have patience. it was how I got my clear cynder simply from being at the right place at the right time. I'd love a glitter hot head or sonic boom but I'm content with the collection i have for now. It also looks like most retailers are starting that complete slow down and not getting any more giants stuff for now.

Taking that last ride through the sunset on skylanders. Hopefully a return of more classic spyro gameplay in the horizon.

Obviously, you don't know what Chase Variants are.

They're EXTREMELY rare (GITD Sonic Boom and Red Drill Sergeant are NOT rare.), and are usually found in 1 out of 100s of boxes.

People chase after these things, looking through boxes and boxes of figures with no luck.

I have found 3 Chase variants in stores; Rock Zook, Rock Whirlwind, and Clear Stealth Elf.

I've gotten amazing deals for some, like $20 each for a loose Gold Chop Chop and Gold S1 Flameslinger, a Glitter Sprocket Triple Pack for an extra S1 Flocked Stump Smash and Ninjini, so I basically paid $14.

I know how rare they are and I have in fact probably seen a lump some of about 1500 SSA boxes and 2500 Giants Boxes and never have seen one.

Have you opened these up one by one? Or just guessing by what you have seen on the shelf? Most of the variants won't make it to the store shelf, right or wrong they are usually kept for certain customers or bought by employees for themselves to sell or to keep. Gamestop takes most of their variants out of the boxes and sells them in bundles. I am really surprised that we have not seen a glitter hot head bundle from them yet.

My Walmart has about 80 boxes that get stocked pretty normally. Maybe I expatriated a bit but still about 800 SSA boxes and 1000 SG boxes. Still though...
