In this case, if you buy a pack you get one - there is no "game of chance" involved. And as I recall you had to call in and "win" a Hothead, therefore "No Purchase Necessary". Recheked Walmart in Roseville, CA (right off 65) and checked the Target (on the other side of 65). No luck.

I recommend that all people look for the bags in Target now.

Flocked Stump Smash was the first Frito promo. The only way to get him now is through EBay. After Flocked Stumpy was the first 4 side kicks and then Hot Head and now the Giantkicks. There are no others at this time.

I traded and got the green stump
Flocked figure.
But if I understand correctly there was a promo, "prior" to
the SSA sidekicks, also from Frito Lay. I thought it was setting where you could call a number and win a flocked stumpy or a hot head?
If it was 2 separate promo's--1) being flocked stump and 2) being side kicks or three of them, the additional one being hot head---
I missed it. I just 100% missed it. Was it also on the variety packs?

Most fans had Hot Head during this time frame but a lot of us (Including Myself) were hoping for the Glitter Hot Head that was out at the time.
I was 1 for 6 and attempted to make his hands light up - That did not go over very well. He is still in pieces to this date.

It cannot work like that legally. They aren't allowed to force you to make a purchase for a chance to win a contest. You have to be able to enter free.

Even Publishers Clearing House works this way, but they make it extremely hard to enter for free without ordering a magazine. Like put this sticker here, put one over here, it must be facing this way or that way. The instructions are intentionally vague. Fortunately Frito Lay just makes so you can just call in, albeit only once per day.

Well, I've found two bags! I got one the other day and put in a request for Barkley. Now I need to place my 2nd one, but I'm not sure who to pick...I'd certainly take any extra codes if crstofer has extras in order to round out a full set. My kids don't know anything about these, so it'll be fun when they show up in the mail!

Has anyone tried doing more than one set to order already? Also I was wondering what info it gives you for the confirmation email, since mine seemed to never come if anyone can tell me specifically what it says for it. I guess I'm slightly worried on if it did get sent to another email that isn't mine and what info they put into the email.

edit: I do have an extra code but I don't want to waste it in checking things for another figure unless I can get more than 4.

I picked up a couple bags of the Flavor Mix yesterday to order a couple extra sidekicks for my friend's kids and panicked for a second because the codes weren't printed on the inside of the bag like the normal mix bags I got earlier in the week. Then I found the loose card with the code and coupons on it, I wonder why the different types of mixes have the code/coupons delivered so different? I much prefer the separate card so that I don't have to cut a big hole in the bag to save the coupons.

My four Classic Mix bags all had cards.

All of mine have been printed on the inside of the bags which are very hard to cut to get the codes and coupons off of.

The types of bags don't matter. I have purchased 7 classic mix bags and 3 of them had the codes printed and 4 of them had cards. One of them actually had 2 cards.

Also there is no confirmation email. The email people have gotten is a Paypal confirmation.

Can someone post an image of the card?

I did not get an email confirmation from fritolay. I'm not sure why they asked for an email. I would assume its a form of tracking orders. I had a code mess up and it wouldn't let me use my email address to reorder the same sidekick even under a different address.

I see but could you reuse the code on a mess up? Or once you put it in and if you don't choose a sidekick you're out of luck for that code? I would think you should call them tomorrow as the number is on their website. I did. They sent me a new code. But the system thought I had already ordered Thumpling even though it didn't go all the way through. I got it all worked out though.

So as soon as you pick the sidekick the code basically gets used then which I kind of figured happened even before you do the paypal shipping. That's something others should keep note of then. Glad to hear it worked out.

Just got my 4 bags! Apparently the people at Walmart had no idea what they were talking about earlier this week and when they said we werent getting them at all, it really meant they would be delayed..

LloydDXZX has been begging for codes, he'd appreciate one. I suspect he'd love 4.

We both live in Canada, we can't get the bags here. Unlike me, he has an American address to send the Sidekicks to. Otherwise I'd want them too.

I think they changed over to cards from the bags in the later batches of the chips. I have 25 bags atm. All bought when they appeared, mix of the purple and blue bags all of them are on the bags themselves, none are cards. If ppl are finding cards now I think they changed their minds about this and are doing so in future bags of chips for this promo.

2 sets are ordered, trying to figure where to send the other 2-3 sets, any clue how they handle ppl in the same house but a different family?

I'm live in Daytona Beach, FL. I went to every Wal-Mart and Publix within 20 miles of my location. No find. I even went to a Super Target and still no find. Then I decided to go to a normal old fashioned Target and boom the shelf was filled completely with the bags. I bought 2 of each bag and all 4 bags had cards in them. I ordered 1 of each and recieved a confirmation email from paypal and only pay-pal. So if anyone is looking or has questions about the process i hope this helps!

I actually do have reason to worry, as the last go 'round, they lost my Gill Runt - and it took an act of God to get a replacement, in spite of the fact that I had the cancelled check *and* the tracking number where I sent all four of my orders out with confirmation delivery.

I don't recall anyone else having any issues, so it's probably nothing to worry about and was just a one-time thing... but why take chances?
