Hello there. We are the association of THE PPL THAT UNDRSTND starting a world wide web revolution. Our founders Pixilism and Spyro-Gamer have brought us to the attention that many people do not know the difference between anime and several other Japanese creations. Pixilism's problem is the fact that many people have called the Japanese hit game, Touhou Project, an anime which is incorrect. The Touhou Project is actually an Japnese dojin game series created by Team Shanghai Alice. Our other founder, Spyro-Gamer's problem is the fact that many people consider Volcaloid an anime as well, which is also incorrect. Volcaloid is a Japnese music singing voice synthesizer created and led by Kenmochi Hideki at the Pompeu Fabra University in 2000. One of the most notable examples of Volcaloid is non other than Hatsune Miku. People who do not understand Volcaloid consider Hatsune Miku an anime character. We are asking that those who are not educated in Japanese culture, please learn more before calling Touhou, Volcaloid, and many other Japanese creations an anime. We are always looking for more members who understand the Japanese Culture as well, so if you have the time and commitment. I encourages you to join in our cause. We believe that someday everybody shall finally realize that Touhou, Volcaloid, and many other mistaken Japanese creations are not any kind of anime.

I will join.

I am a fan of Vocaloid, and though I know next to nothing about Touhou, I still know it is some form of game and not an anime.

Even though I like anime, I still agree with this. Yes, anime may usually have more plot and/or moral messages than cartoons, but they are still cartoons by definition.
