I hope the X and Y anime is better then Black and White. And I swear, if Cilan is in it, my gawd. I think that fat dude with the camera will maybe replace Cilan. That, or, BRING ******* BROCK BACK! I want Iris gone to. Her voice is so irritating. And I hope they focus more on story and actual Pokemon battles instead of that slow, boring *** dialogue from B & W.

Ash IS the main character of the anime and has been since the thing started in Kanto, so it's no surprise that he would continue to be the main character. The anime has never switched main characters (except in Pokemon Chronicles and special occasions) like the games do for each new game, so of course Ash is still there. Love him or hate him, if you watch the anime you're stuck with him, which is honestly fine with me. I've gotten used to him and I've even come to like his personality a bit. I think I'm one of the few who feels that way though. D:

His clothes do seem kinda similar to the male character in X and Y. His outfit in the Diamond and Pearl series was also similar to Lucas's clothes, so I guess they're just copying the character's outfit again. To be honest, I like the new outfit, I think it looks kinda nice on Ash, besides maybe the hat. That might just be me though.

Ash is the only character in the current anime that's not a Pokemon that I don't hate. The worst character, uh, that ******* dumb*** ***** (you can tell I'm frustrated with the anime, I usually don't curse this much smilie) girl with the blue hair who has afraid of like EVERYTHING. "Like, I was always told to tap a bridge to make sure it doesn't fall, but I'm afraid I taped to hard! My god she was an idiot. I don't care if the episode is a Zelda crossover, if she come back, I AM NOT WATCHING THE EPISODE!

Nope, knew it would be Ash all along. Then again, everyone knew. It's completely obvious that they would continue to stick with him intead of choosing someone else (which I definitely wouldn't mind at this point). I still like Ash, don't get me wrong, but he can be a bit intolerable at times.

Oh gosh this. I didn't mind Iris too much, but I never got attached to her, and she could be a bit hypocritical at times with her "little kid" comments, though I don't think her liking for Dragon types was TOO bad, but I can't say for sure since I've only seen some sections of the Unova sage. Other than that, I thought she was okay.

Cilan has been the most annoying protagonist in the history of Pokemon for me. Those food metaphors are annoying as heck. I hope he doesn't come back. I know Iris probably won't, at least not as a main character, since it's tradition for there to be a new female protagonist in each generation. I can't say I'll miss her either. Let's just hope the new protagonist for the X and Y saga are less annoying.

I really don't find Cilan to be annoying. I liked Iris ever since she was introduced so that's there. Cilan's eyes bother me though...

I think he's trying to be like Shadow, who actually has an excuse for never aging. (He was created not to do so as the Ultimate Life Form)

We all know the real reason why Ash stays 10: It's so that the show will appeal to kids of that particular age group. In other words, they want to keep it "Kid friendly".

So the anime has been revealed to follow ash yet again as he travels the Kalos region to become a Pokemon Master.

and we all know what's going to happen, he will lose for like, the sixth time at the league thing, dump yet more pokemon at professor oak's lab (how the heck does he keep all the pokemon? poor guy), then continue his journey through the seventh region

He will most likley lose to another gym and never evolve most of his Pokemon.

Good news in the 100th episode of pokemon black white/ best wishes iris beats drayden the dragon gym leader and he says that she will take over to be the new gym leader so hopefully in the x and y anime iris and cilan might stay back and brock and misty might come back we can only hope.
