The story of The Blue Umbrella was very basic, I was more impressed by the animation. I admit I did like the part where the various parts of the city helped the umbrella.
The writers at Pixar need to review their pacing. There was too much going on and even now I can't place particular scenes that I remember into the right parts of the movie.

Just watched the movie on Monday.
The movie was really good and is my favorite Pixar (don't kill me for not saying Cars or Finding Nemo is the best) movie. The Blue Umbrella scene was boring though. |

It was adorable. Lots of subtle jokes on Monsters Inc that were hilarious. Randal was my favorite. XP

A dragon/cockroach hybrid lady

The movie had multiple villains, We can all agree on that.
I was a bit saddened that the Randall backstory was just barely glanced over. |

Saw the movie the other day, it was very good IMO, my second favorite Pixar film as of now. Toy Story 3 is still my favorite.

I saw it and could really relate to Mike in the beginning. Being ignored by pretty much everyone at your school, and being paired with the teacher or the kid that nobody wants as a partner. ;^; Oh well..
The Blue Umbrella was cute. It did seem to drag on, but the animation made up for that IMO. I just wish Pixar would go back to making original films and not sequels/prequels. We all saw how Cars 2 did. In my own opinion, the premise for Finding Nemo 2 seems a bit...stupid and "been done before." with the first film. But just as long as Bruce doesn't turn out to be some sort of Australian spy for some Spy-shark group, I'm...okay and will give the movie a chance.. Quote: MoonHorizons
He was the antagonist. The headmaster was just intimidating, but not necessarily "evil" as she did wish Mike and Sully good luck at the end of the film.

Really in my opinion, no one in the film was evil.
That one guy was a bully and that cockroach lady was just doubting Mike. |

^ The Blue Umbrella animation was pretty cute, I enjoyed it more than the opening Wreck-it-Ralph animation.
Also I agree that they should start making some more original titles (Even though MU was amazing, they definitely shouldn't make another MI film), I mean... 'Planes'? *facepalm* STOP MAKING SEQUELS TO YOUR WORST FRANCHISE! (Yeah the 'Cars' series is my least favorite Pixar series).

There's really noting left to explore in the "Bug's Life Universe." Or in any Pixar universe. Any sequel would just be unnecessary.

I don't see how the ending of Wall-e left room for a sequel. I really think the only one I think that needs a sequel is The Incredibles. I wanna see them fight the underminer on the big screen and not a shimmy video game.

If it's done right, I could see it being a long movie. Or they could do it again like the incredibles and have him for only a few segments and than he gets his butt kicked and than comes the new villain.
