I payed $0.99 for 300 gems, just recently. A loading screen came up saying "Purchasing..." or something like that. It took forever, so I thought it was a bug and X'd out of the app. When I logged back on... I still had the same amount of gems I had before but a dollar had been withdrawn from my account!?!?!? I did not get the gems! It then showed me the backup of the game I had on my phone and the one saved to my Activate account... The "Activate" one said "Recommended!", so I figured that must mean they put my gems on it. I clicked it and it took me even further back on my progress and I STILL DON'T HAVE THE GEMS! I am outraged!

Explain the problem to iTunes/App Store support, politely, and they'll probably refund your 99c.

Well, if you have received your email receipt there will be a 'report this problem' link right there in the email. Or there is a link to contact support on the iTunes support FAQ page. Hope this helps

I successfully contacted them with my problem and requested a refund. I should hear back from them soon.

On the topic of Hidden Offers, is there any rhyme or reason to whether or not people are still getting them? I haven't seen 1 in several days but my wife found 1 today. I thought it might be tied to whether or not you take advantage of the offer (I used the 300 for $.99 5 times) but one of my readers has used several different offers and he still gets them. Maybe you can only use the offers so many times?

That was the first time I used that particular offer. I had only bought one other offer, and that was the previous day. If there is a limit on how many offers you can buy, it should say that if you are purchasing one (legally, it has to).

I'm still getting them. In fact, I'm averaging about three each day, and have done for at least a week. Maybe there's a built-in desperation algolrithm that increases the frequency of the offers until such time as one is actually accepted...
Also, sometimes they're not even hidden. I've had them popup on game reload automatically more than once. Just as the game is about to display the normal deal of the day offer and other discounts or features or new companions or whatever, the hidden offer window pops up over the top. No hidden offer icon - just an immediate hidden offer window without tapping on anything at all.

And I haven't had a hidden offer at all! Not one. Never. Ever.
And hopefully, after posting this, I'll go back to my game and one might finally pop up!

I get those offers every few days. Only mine are 300 gems for EUR 1,79 (USD 2.34).

I heard back from the Apple Support Team and got my $0.99 refunded! Thanks for the help, everyone! I will now be closing this topic.
