Picked up 8 bags at publix in SE Georgia

Nothing here, oh wait i live in Canada we're not getting it lol

Found 4 bags tonight: 2 @ Walmart and 2 @ Tops Markets in the Buffalo, NY area (Amherst specifically).

Finally found some bags! For those of you looking in the Southwest Ohio area (greater Cincinnati), I found them at the Evendale Walmart in the chips section! Happy hunting!

Found 6 bags at a Walmart in Livonia, Michigan.

Ok, it's offically 6/30 on the east coast... why is the site still not up yet? lol

They are either going by west coast time or they'll update at some random time during the day.

Got 6 here in Central PA. Forgive me if this has already been stated but the blue bags have the code printed inside the large outer bag and the purple ones actually have a paper coupon card with the code floating around inside. At least, that's what I ended up with.

@Zook - I thought they were going by Eastern time since the call center hours at the bottom of the page were listed in ET. Ah well, guess I'll just keep refreshing. lol.

@Kesrael - That's weird, I got the purple bags, they had the code printed inside them too. That's the first I've heard of them still using the paper method this time.

Are some of the bags coming with the coupons printed on the inside of the actual bag? o_o I'm just confused by the picture of the coupon because mine came as physical cards like last year (minus the artwork) and the inside of the bag is blank. Also anyone in the South Texas area? I've gotten a confirmation from my girlfriend that she's spotted some of the bags at her local HEB, she doesn't play the game but wanted me to relay the information!

I picked up four bags at Walmart lastnight and two of my bags have a physical card coupon and the other two have a code printed into the bag itself. Very strange. I wonder if they had a sudden cost cutting measure mid production.

Yep, it came up and I have ordered all four. Very easy process, and you get a PayPal email receipt for the transaction immediately with the one you ordered on it listed (no waiting weeks to see if the mail went through). You select the ONE you want (not preference this time).

Just ordered mine aswell. I wish I had the option to enter all four codes at once, but whats done, is done.

Entered mine! I definitely prefer this method of paying and ordering compared to the mail in ones. Much less stressful, now time to kick back and wait for those 12ish weeks to come and go. Here's hoping everyone gets the ones they want! I wish I had gotten a screenshot of the figures when I had the chance, didn't even think about it until I payed for my last one. orz

So, with payment options being online only now (through credit cards/Paypal), I assume those of us looking to get more than 4 can't? I mean, if our names are the same across all credit cards, how can we get more than 4?

Or, do they not care how many one gets now?

Well on the site it does say "Limit of One (1) of each character per household" so I'm assuming that no we can't get more than four under one name/card/address. :< Which is a bummer for a household with two card holders both looking for a set of their own. What I've been wondering is since the paypal purchases are showing up with the character's names in them (e.g."Thumplin figure handling fee") does this mean they'll end up refunding the purchase for the figure if they can't supply it instead of sending a duplicate..

I would assume it has less to do with the credit card than the mailing address. Using PayPay means the credit card info is hidden to them. You have to use PayPal regardless, even if you are using a Guest account for a credit card. They *may* pay attention to the PayPal account linked to them, but given the rules say "household", it is likely the address that matters. So, I hope you have some friends/relatives you trust to send the extras to.

However, given there is no guarantee, I would be hesitant to order more than one of each using the same PayPal account until you at least received the first set. The promotion last until mid October so you have time. You wouldn't want to take a chance and have all of your orders deemed invalid, then have to go through the mess of sorting it out.

By the way GM, you only need 12 bags, not 13 as you mentioned. It isn't cards this time, so you can just cut up the bag of one you used for display.

Mine are ordered! Hopefully, since they have a button to select the specific character you want, it will increase the likelihood of actually receiving that character. LOL I have enough chips to last my girls the Summer and I am not in the mood to try and find a way to order extras.

Does anyone remember how long it took for the first orders to be delivered last year? I think it was faster than anticipated. Maybe 5 weeks?

Young America is a promotion fulfillment company, when they say a certain date, they mean it - this isn't a new thing for them, nor is Frito Lay their only client. They wait until they have a certain number of orders before they fulfill them, they aren't just sitting around waiting to throw them in the mail. Last year their date estimate was pretty much correct, so thinking 5 weeks is absolutely unrealistic. If you ordered them late last year, it might have come a bit quicker, but the first ones didn't come until they said they would. It will likely be late August/early September before anyone gets them. And they won't be late until mid September (if you order them now).

It's best to be patient, although I have no doubt some people are going to start bugging them on the support phone in a week ...

13th bag is to cut out the back of the packaging, to display a part of the promo bag with the Giantkicks, like I did last year, with this -



That sheet hanging with the Sidekicks, was from the back of the bags a year ago. I needed a 13th bag to cut out, AND I wanted to let me kids pick one Giantkick, until I get them a complete set down the line, when Gamestop finally starts carrying them.

I ordered all 4 giants sidekicks!! WOOO!

I got it to work but I'm having issue.

There are plenty of bags at the Target on Rt. 1 in South Attleboro, MA. I grabbed 6. Also, they have remaining bags from the last round of promos - $2 off when you buy two packs. I grabbed three of those off the bags in the back and scored a combined $6 off

was very easy to complete so aside waiting for the ones from amazon i ordered of drobot, spyro and now these four completed very easy with paypal, gotta love that. Pretty much done with giants.

You could probably easily get a pre-paid card to use for a "different customer", although it depends on if they look at the account or address they're sending them to.
Haven't spotted them at any local stores but I'll keep an eye out.

I went to my local Walmart and they told me they weren't going to get any of the promo bags in based on the area. Apparently the demand isn't that high for them, so the home store has decided to pass on them. -sigh- I guess this means a road trip to my nearest big city to try and get 4 bags.

Submitted my 4 early in the AM and headed out to the beach! I found the process a little tedious even though I already have a PP account, but I suspect Fritolay don't expect people to buy all 4 bags right away. I noticed the next day there were no more bags where I found them, even after obvious restock, so I suggest grab them when you see them.

BTW, if you enter the code wrong, there is no issue, just enter it again. I had a code where I couldn't tell if it was a zero or an O and failed the first attempt.

My opinion: order one set for yourself and enjoy---order the rest off eBay in about 12 months when Gamestop is trying to get rid of theirs.

As the other has said they won't ship to canada and the reason for that is when they ask for your zip code, that's where it's going to be shipped to. So it's worthwhile to not ask unless you have someone close to you who is in the US who can get them for you. Canada for now is not getting them. They might release them later, just keep a look out sometime in the future where you are.

If you have them shipped to her in florida that's ok, you use her zip code and get the promo codes from the bags and then when she gets them as you said she can send them to you where you live.

I understand now that you want an extra for the kids, so ok. But I was referring to why you cannot use a bag that you get a code from? It isn't like last year where you wanted to hang onto an unredeemed card for display. Since everything is online, you send nothing in so just cut up one of the ones you redeem. It's just a faint little printed code on the inside so you cannot see it without opening the bag. Once it is redeemed the whole outer bag is useless.

I live in Queens, NY but have been on vacation visiting family in Maryland for the past month. I checked the Walmart here three times, and found nothing. I can't believe they were found in Long Island, NY and yet I am stuck here...

Does anyone have any (hopefully four) extra codes, please?

I went back and checked. It was about 7.5 weeks for me when sending them in early July. Thanks for the imput, though. I agree with you in suggesting that people not call Young America until after the 12 weeks are completed.

Ummmm, I guess you don't know American geography... In the continental U.S. (in other words, not including Alaska or Hawaii), California is one of the FARTHEST parts from Canada there is! I just got directions from Google from Vancouver (the closest part of Canada) to the northern border of California, and it's STILL 10 hours (I really thought it would be longer). From here, it would take several days to get to any part of California. LOL!

Why wouldn't you just think about going to Vermont or New York State? Much closer, only about an hour from Montreal to get to Burlington or Plattsburgh, then we'd just have to find these bags. (I'd go, but you need a passport at the border now)

He would still need a bag or code, which is what he's been asking for (and really needs to stop, he has gotten quite fanatical about getting Sidekicks). It looks like they aren't selling these bags in Canada, though I have yet to truly check myself.

Yeah, I think they said 6-8 weeks last year so that is right in line.

Why are you asking for a zip code? Did you mean to ask for a promo code?

Do people who are asking if anyone has any extra codes realize that these variety packs cost $5 - $7, depending on whether they're on sale, or not? I don't know about you folks, but that's not really giving-away money for me. Maybe consider that before you ask someone to just give you a code.
