I'm sincerely sorry for my stupid comments earlier, overreacting at the topic.

I shouldn't have posted that. I know ass isn't a curse, but it's just rude. I was concerned for the younger audience of the site. I overreacted at it.

Exactly. As I have stated previously, removing the word 'ass' is not going to keep them from accessing much worse content on the internet. We aren't saving the innocence of anybody by doing that.

People have different sensitives no matter the age. Children are far likely to have heard the word "ass" beforehand if they are capable of identifying it as a word commonly used for cussing. While the internet is a large information resource, most "cuss words" are exposed to them early on no matter what anyways, and that's how they know such words are "cusses". Younger people will not think the word "ass" is a "bad word" if you say it to them when they haven't been exposed to the word before and have it identified as a "bad thing".

If they seek to use such words themselves, and many do, than it's their choice to do so despite the words having the reputation of being "bad". It's up to the parents with how they raise their kid, and if they do not research the websites they allow their children to visit, then it's their fault, really. It's also the kids fault for "misbehaving".

Most kids already know what is "socially allowed" long before they are ten years old.
