Check this out. I would looking over my Ninjini figure today and noticed something that I thought was interesting. I will probably be telling my age with this post but here goes any way. The symbol on Ninjini's forearms look extremely similar to a symbol that is used by the rock band Queensryche. Check out this link http://25.media.tumblr.com/tum...92219_cover.jpg. It that almost exactly the same image or what? I don't know if there is any connection between the two. Perhaps the designer is a fan? Perhaps Activision owes someone some royalties? What do you fine people think?

The band parted ways with Tate. They are in the middle of a bloody court battle. But I have noticed the similarities.
And I still listen to Operation Mindcrime from time to time. Great times.

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed. |

Yeah, I heard about the whole spitting incident that went down in South America (I think). I guess Activision wouldn't have anyone to write the royalty checks to. They were an incredible band though.

Mindcrime was a great album. I also have the Operation:Livecrime boxed set. Can't forget about Empire either. |

Did you ever listen to Promised Land? That was an severely under appreciated album.

Getting slightly off the topic of Skylanders.

I mentioned this in another topic (one about Scarlet Ninjini, I think). Could probably find it, but I'm too lazy at the moment. But since albums were mentioned, my personal favorite is Q2K. And from what I've seen in other topics that talk about Queensryche, I'm probably the only person in the world that likes it. EDIT: Re: the Empire cover. I should try to build that in Minecraft. It'd be HUGE. |

Sorry, I honestly didn't bother trying to search because I didn't even think anyone would know who they are. Did Q2K have Falling Down on it? Loved that song. Nice to see people on here with such a fine taste in music. Who would have thought Skylanders and Queensryche went so well together?
