Temple of the Shrine of the Silver Monkey
1st Banishment Ceremony
Flaming Spyros
Under the clear, starry night sky lay the foreboding stone temple. Its pillars have vines growing around them, and the walls are adorned with murals of monkeys. The six members of the Flaming Spyros walk in through the entry corridor to the temple's central chamber. Within the central chamber, they find a makeshift table containing a multicolored urn. HIR is standing next to it, looking out to the ocean. Across from him, they see six stone pedestals raised off the floor, arranged in a semicircle. The center of the chamber contains a pit of bubbling yellow mud.
"Welcome!" The host enthusiastically greets them, before darkly continuing, "To the Temple of the Shrine of the Silver Monkey! And the first banishment ceremony. One of you shall be living this island... FOREVER... ever... ever!"
"Were you trying to do an echo effect?" Vincentkoopa yawned, clearly unimpressed.
"Yeah, we kind of blew our special effects budget on the torches lighting this place. Ancient temples didn't have electricity, after all." HIR retorted. He picks up the urn on the table next to him. "Here is the Urn of Anguish! Within it are your votes... your expressions of discontent toward your teammates. Let's start out by disclosing the 4 of you who are undoubtedly, unquestionably safe."
"Ugh... it should be pretty obvious." HDAZ yawned.
"And what makes you say that?" HIR inquired with a curious raised eyebrow.
"Well, we had some serious dead weight on this team. And... urk..." HDAZ stops mid answer to adjust her shorts. "Damn wedgies. As I was saying, someone didn't contribute anything. And if that individual isn't sent home, I'll be
really disappointed in my teammates."
"I see. Does anyone else share those sentiments?" There were some mumbles in response. "Alright, well the following four players received 0 votes." HIR pauses for a moment.
"Get on with it!" HD542 demands.
"Alright... HDAZ, HD542, Vincentkoopa, and Pika will all live to fight another day." HIR exclaims. The stone pedestals they are sitting on light up. Sparxis suddenly frowns. Prextail merely sighs.
"Yes. Sparxis and Prextail... I'm sorry, but you are the bottom two." Both teammates looked at each other, and then back to the host. "One of you received a single vote. The other... received five." He explained, his voice turning sinister. "Is there anything either of you have to say?"
"I... I just didn't want to vote anyone. It was too sad." Sparxis cried, tearing up slightly.
"That's a nice little endeavor, but it's meaningless. I
wanted this to happen. This game is stupid." Prextail growled.
"Oh really?" HIR stated intently. "You want something like... THIS to happen?" HIR exclaimed as he pushed a button on the wristwatch he was wearing. The pedestals of the bottom two began to shake.
"H-Hey!" Prextail hissed. "What's going on?"
"I thought it would be a good idea to give the loser something to remember the island by." HIR shouted over the whirring and clanking of hydraulic engines.
"You couldn't have just sent a photo... or a postcard?" Spraxis screamed, clinging to the top of the pedestal.
"Nope. So let's give our banished player their surprise!"
One of the pedestals knocked someone off their seat, flinging them into the mud pit with a sludgy splash. The other Flaming Spyros looking away in disgust, as the ousted player emerged, covered head to toe in yellow grunge. "ARRRRRGH!" The player climbs out, splatter mud everywhere, much to the chuckles of the host. "Screw all of you! And screw this game! You can't vote me off... I QUIT!"
"Technically, they already voted you off." HIR interjected.
"Forget you! I'm outta here... while I still have some shred of dignity!" The player hiked up their muddy pants and turned to storm out, only to walk straight into a stone pillar and pass out. HIR sighed and blew a whistle. A pair of Waddle Dees with emergency lights strapped on their heads ran in, carrying a stretched. They hoist the ousted player on and carry them off.
"I'd say a few words in memorial, but frankly I think that speaks for itself." HIR snickers. "Go back, sleep it off. Try to rebound tomorrow." The host attempted to offer some encouragement. "Oh, and don't worry about any wildlife."
"Why?" Pika asked. HIR pulled out a safari helmet and plucked a hunting rifle out from one of the bushes. He also crabs a corncob pipe.
"I've got it covered. TO THE HUNT!" He leaps over one of the temple walls and vanishes. The remaining Flaming Spyros collect themselves and depart the temple.

Competition Beach
The Electrifying Cynders all made their way to the main beach, appearing well rested, clean, and in fresh sets of clothes. "I don't know about you guys, but I feel great!" Seiki exclaimed, stretching out her arms.
"YEAH! IHAVEN'TFELTTHISGOODINALONGTIME!" Bravo shouted, his left eye twitching nonstop.
"Uh, are you okay, man?" Eevee88 asked, a bit more collected than she was yesterday.
"NEVERBETTER! WHY?" Bravo blasted out his response.
"Nothing." She sighs.
"Greetings!" HIR cheerfully chimes in, startling the team.
"Gah! Where did you come from?" Crystalhero gasped.
"Rumor has it that the stork brought me." HIR quipped. "Now then, are you ready to meet the new, and hopefully improved, Flaming Spyros. Cause here they come." He motions to a second set of stairs where Pika, Vincentkoopa, HD542, HDAZ... and Sparxis descend. They're all wearing the same sweaty clothing from the previous day. HDAZ's hair is plastered to her face and Pika's shirt sleeves are shredded up, most likely from his attempts to rip them off. "As you can see, Prextail was banished the previous evening."
"So, doesn't this give the Electrifying Cynders an unfair advantage?" HD542 complained.
"Not for today's challenge! You'll be playing Lead By Example."

Today's game mode is Lead By Example
Each team must select a leader. The leaders will PM me. I will then send the leaders the same set of 10 questions. The questions will increase in difficulty from 1-10, but have higher points values associated with them. The leaders will submit
all 10 answers in one PM. You can change your answers any time before the deadline, but you will have to send all 10 answers again if you do. The PM should have the subject "Day 2 Answers."
Each correct answer will earn your team that number of points. The team with the most points wins the round. In the event of a tie, the team that sent in their final answers first will win. The leaders will have to choose whether to consult with their team, or ignore them and answer on their own.
I await your PMs. If I do not have them both by tonight, a Random Number Generator will determine the leaders.
