The Super Moon is the term when it is closest to the earth.
Hunter's Moon or Blood Moon is the terms used when it is red or orange.
So again can you see it?
If you can take some pictures and post them here for those who can't.

The moon has risen and I can't see it because of all the clouds. It looks like a redish-orange spot in the sky The Super Moon is the term when it is closest to the earth. I thought there was super moon a few years ago and that it wouldn't get close to earth again for ages.

Nope. The moon looks normal. It's not even close to red. >.>

I saw it. The clouds going in front of it gave me sort of a Halloween vibe.

Luckily the clouds have thinned out enough to see it, unfortunately it has lost its red color Oh well. It still has a little bit of pink to it. |

You forgot the 'blue moon'. It's the rare occurance when there are two full moons in one month. The second one is called a 'Blue Moon'. That's where the phrase 'Once In A Blue Moon' comes from. I saw it earlier over Ohio and it looked completely normal. Is this phenomena regional? I can't see it now, because it's directly above my house. Also, when I first saw this topic, I thought it was a Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask reference.

I keep reading this as 'Sailor Moon'. I haven't seen the Super Moon. |
