Yep--ordered mine very early this morning.

yeah i posted that in another post a bit back, basically i should have waited instead of doing evilbay yesterday and paid double for one but that still factors into the price of importing one if you still could reasonably. i got an extra poster and a terrabite sidekick with the one i got in store so all's good.

I got one in store and ordered one online. That way I have one to open and keep sealed. I got the poster, however my Gamestop did not get any sidekicks.

Were there just a few posters? Meaning--if I go tomorrow do you think I have a chance to buy one?

It's a terrible shame that some folks were freaking everyone out by claiming that she wasn't going to be released in the US.

I fear a lot of folks overpaid to import her for no reason.

Agreed. I'm tempted to overspend on LC Hex simply because I don't want to wait until 10/13 to get her. Git r done!

I paid a bit more for her back before Easter. It was still a reasonable price, but I consider the premium fine for getting her over two months earlier. I'm not bothered at all by it, personally. Had I only done it a couple weeks back, sure. I never doubted for a second that she would be released here, the only question was when and how hard she would be to find.

you have to take a hit somewhere and i needed to get atleast 3 more polars and you don't know if gamestop was going to have her available on the website. They did. They also had the one per person rule so either way when you have to get for more than one person at times it's going to be rough.

IF gamestop did one thing right yesterday it was the one per person rule.

Except for situations like mine, where I was trying to pick one up for a co-worker.

I understand. I actually wanted to get two. One to keep and one to open. I just ended up ordering one on-line. It just takes the scalper part out of it. As you can see on Ebay, since yesterday they have gone up in huge numbers.

Yeah, that was super-effective.

My Gamestop was telling me one per household. It was me and my nephew and I originally needed to get three, so my gf could have one as well, and the guy said I couldn't and told me that. On top of that, he was trying to tell me that me and my nephew both couldn't buy one. I ended up able to get two after I top him we weren't in the same household, even though we are, and had to drive across town to get my girlfriends.

My point didn't come across clearly..... Not all stores followed this as you can see from peoples post on here. The point I was trying to make was if they let you buy all that they had... (not you unclebob but anyone) The ebay situation would be even worse. Instead most stores followed the one per person rule. Now, is that going to stop it all... no. Is it going to stop people from GS hopping to get multiples no. In a way it did make it harder and give more people who wanted it to get it.

The retail world will never be perfect as there will always be ways around this that or the other. Somethings just make it more fair on a whole basis. At the very least your friend/co-worker can order it online from GS and get it with just buying Polar. They could have pulled one of their awesome moves and bundled her and made her 99 dollars or whatever they did with Ninjini when she was available on-line.

Definitely considering there was in some cases only six. I didn't even bother trying to buy more than one; I would've felt bad for everyone else so just did "one per location" and hoofed it. I probably burned enough gas to have justified just eBaying it, but that's ok.

I recall a few people flipping out and claiming this before any of us knew the real deal. Though I'm glad I waited it out- managed to snag mine yesterday at my local GS.
I had a feeling we'd get her, that's why I found it a bit ridiculous for some to get so paranoid. It is a shame though that some most likely overpaid- I recall the price she was going for when she was first released overseas...man I'm glad I waited

I was thinking about an option to buy mine on eBay simply because I hate Gamestops that much. He couldn't be bothered answering my questions which is great as I probably saved $60 or so. Hope he can sell them, but I doubt it now.

It's all about patience. Too many figures have been hard to find initially and now I see them all the time languishing on the shelves. Granted, the exclusives and other figures are not as available, but for the most part people just need to be patient.

For In-Game Variants it would be suicide for Acti not to release figures in the US. Nothing against our friends from over both ponds but they would never just release PW over their and not anywhere else.
