how squeamish are you? [CLOSED]

like most people, as ive got older, ive become more adjusted to gore
unless its REALLY, REALLY severe, im mostly ok with it
i used to be extremely sqeamish and feel sick in biogly lessons at merely a mention of an internal organ
but now im older ive definitely become more adjusted

I can take it, I just don't really like it. Like when ever someone get's stabbed or cut on screen, I find my self holding the body part the got injured at smilie Like in the Marvel superhero movie Daredevil, when one of Elektra's blades was thrown at her and stabbed her in her hand, and she pulls it out I was like sitting on my hand smilie But I can still watch movies like The Hunger Games or Daredevil just fine, just cringe a little. Oh my god, I'm rubbing my hand just thinking about that Elektra scene smilie

I used to be, but then I started reading webcomics. Now I can watch people get decapitated and stabbed multiple times in the chest and not feel the slightest bit queazy.

I can watch and read lots gore without even squirming (offline and online)... Well, unless it involves eyes, but even then I only feel a little queasy.

However, I don't know if I'm still sensitive to this, but I got very dizzy and sick when we had a period lesson during 7th grade (because it had diagrams) and the same thing happened when I was watching a video of my choir teacher's throat when she had an infection (she made us watch it). It was better when I laid down for a bit though.

Nope, not really squeamish. Though, I hate blood and gore, but I don't actually get sick by it or anything, I just can't stand it.

Not squeamish at all.

In my university course I had to examine dead human bodies and remove certain organs for examination every week. I've seen bodies cut in all different ways from straight down the middle to seeing flesh stripped from the fingers.

I would say I'm desensitized, but being someone with mirror touch...it would be silly to say I'm not "sensitive" to it. No, I'm more tolerant of gore and such, as I've been self-exposed to it and had quite some experiences with some pretty nasty wounds myself...I'm tolerant of my own pain as well, kinda have to be if I wanna function sometimes.

Anyways, it changes a lot when it comes down to imagining things I'm attached to all gored up.
