I just thought of something, though it's probably a very stupid idea, but what if Froakie's evolved forms are Flying/Water Types?

It's classified as a "Bubble Frog Pokemon", and I can kind of picture it floating on a large bubble or using bubbles to soar on.

Its entry says:

"The Water-type Pokémon Froakie is both light and strong, making it capable of jumping incredibly high. The bubbles on its chest and back protect it from attacks. Froakie may appear absentminded, but in truth it pays close attention to its surroundings at all times."

The white bubbles on its body also kind of look like clouds.

It was just a thought, so I'm not betting on it.

I have to say that graphics aren't the main reason why I'll buy a game, but they are still somewhat important to me especially if they are trying to convey a certain style such as Okami's Japanese scroll-like art and Wind Waker's painted appearance.

But gameplay and especially storyline are the most important reasons why I'll choose a game and really like it. Also, I pay a lot of attention to the games' soundtracks.

Not a Nintendo Direct but a Nintendo Roundtable at E3. It's a sealed room, only for press, talking about the games.

I mentioned it a page or two ago.
the E3 Nintendo direct is an hour long. but they are doing something else with the press that's 90 minutes long. So, they may tell them a lot of new stuff.

On the 16th is another "Pokemon X and Y special" on Pokemon Smash, and that's pretty much after E3, and CoroCoro. So, something new is deffinately going to be shown.
Also, not really a Pokemon game, but it's got Pokemon in it. Super Smash bros. for Wii U/3DS will have a trailer on the Nintendo direct.

I want confirmation that the rumors that these are they only new pokemon and the rest are all returning or new evo's of old new ones are false.

^ Don't worry, that's false. Even the official website states, "Pokémon X and Pokémon Y will present a new generation of Pokémon, including never-before-seen starter Pokémon, amazing Legendary Pokémon, and many more!" So it definitely sounds like they are mentioning all new species of Pokemon, and not just new evolutions and returning Pokemon. Of course, there will still be returning Pokemon, as seen in multiple images, such as the one of Pikachu. There will also be new evolutions of older Pokemon (like Sylveon is to Eevee).

I'm curious, Where did you hear that?

I want a female evolution for Machop.

^ Hehe, that would be interesting. Machop has a 75% chance of being male and only 25% female.

But there are a lot of Pokemon that look like they would only be males, but also have female counterparts and vice-versa.

I would like to see a larger change in the appearance of gender differences. A lot of them are so miniscule that it's hard to tell that they even changed anything.

For example, Combusken:

Male: Female:

The feathers on its head are shorter in the female version, but it's somewhat hard to tell, even in a side-by-side comparison.

Maybe the colors for the opposite gender could be reversed?

One of the rumors Rand OM posted sai the pokemon revealed now were the only one hundred percent new pokemon.

^ Oh okay, good =), I'm so glad that it's not true because I'm hyped for all new Pokemon and not just a small amount or new evolvences.

Hopefully, there will be at least 100 more released. Has anyone heard anything about a general amount that they are planning on adding? If not, it's probably going to be revealed at E3.

I would like to see a Chatot or Spiritomb evolvence. Also, a pre-evolvence to Pinsir and Heracross would be neat. Are there any that you guys want to see?

I know I definitely want an evolution of the Pokecenter helper pokemon (I.E.Audino) and Throh and Sock. Other than gen. 5 Id say I want evolutions of Absol, Arcanine, Noctowl and Floatzel

^ A Noctowl evo. would be very cool =). Noctowl is one of my favorite Pokemon, but I always thought that it should be a Dark/Flying type, instead of a Normal/Flying. Maybe it could have an evolvence that is Dark/Flying?

I'm still excited for Sylveon and I hope to learn more about it.

I'm also starting to really like Helioptile, it seems like a fun Pokemon to play with and add to your team. I wonder if it will evolve and if it's found near the beginning of the game.

They both have similar coloring, long ears, a upside down "V" shape where the darker part of their head meats their face, darker hands and feet, and somewhat similar face shapes/features.

Not sure, but it does look like it could easily fit in as a pre-evolvence, but Mawile is a Steel type and Helioptile is an Electric/Normal type. I could see it working if it evolves into an Electric/Steel type and Mawile being an alternate evolvence. Maybe if it's leveled up in some cave associated with metal, it would evolve into it, but it would evolve into it's normal evolvence if it was leveled up elsewhere

Yes, but it wouldn't stay as one type like the others, but yeah, it still would be too similar to the concept of Eevee.

I actually suggested/mentioned the Mawile thing back when it was revealed xD I agree, I HOPE it has something to do with Mawile, so it doesn't seem like a clone or just a Pokemon similar to another :/ If that makes sense.

lol, I have to collect the Eevees in every game.

My SS team is even Umbreon, Espeon, Vaporeon, Leafeon, Flareon, Glaceon.
I love this team, kicked a girl's butt the other day. She was only able to take down Leafeon.
