yeah staying fit is pointless

im okay with doing it up until i take my options, but you still have to do it even after you've took your options
its just a waste because you could spend that time studying subjects that are actually important to you and that you're getting a qualification in

All schools have to do it, it's the law.

I liked the lesson, I just didn't like carrying around the kit with me.

It was just 1 year for me so I have no problems with it.

I look skinny but I weigh 120 pounds(or that was the last time I checked.).

Its deffinently important, I'm a overweight(nkt by that much...) and I'm home schooled, so yeah.

It does have some importance but I don't like it either.

I would enjoy it other than the fact of my asthma is getting progressively worse.
And getting changed with sweaty boys going through puberty doesn't help...

I have to take it all year this year for two credits (that is, unless they let me take track and let me out of it) and I honestly think it's a waste. It's only one more year, but still. I exercise at home, for one, for two, I hate playing team sports because the people here are so damn competitive they scream at you if you screw up, and for three, I'd rather take Spanish. I'm actually going to use Spanish in my life (and I need three years of it for my desired diploma, it'd be nice to not take it senior year).

Also, I hate lugging my giant gym bag around on Mondays and Fridays. :I

I understand the logic behind having it, but they should make it just about keeping fit. Make it fun. The most annoying thing is the teachers who teach it are all sporty, naturally athletic people. They don't understand that some people just genuinly AREN'T good at sport, and won't ever be. But they can't see that, so you end up having to do all this athletic stuff you are terrible at, and everyone else in the class is super judging of you because 'we lost cause you didn't catch that ball!'.

Hey, I'm about to go to a four year college and just found out I have to take a full year of PE... My worst nightmare come true.

i just always bring a note and site on the side listening to music and playing my 3ds\
then again its not for no reason, it's just that i have severe tonsilitis to the point it affects my breathing and **** so im not doing pe until i get them removed......

I do love certain sports we do in P.E., because I can always do them with a small group of friends. I'm the kind of person who's tries and gets perfect grades, but frankly, I don't care about sport. You don't need to be athletic to get a job or anything. Schools should loosen the reigns on P.E. and just make it about personal fitness and having fun. :/

I loved having P.E I also think it is very necessary as it is sometimes the only exercise some students get. I get that some people can get super competitive , at my school it was honestly a really small group. I am pretty athletic and have been working out on my own since i was a freshman so it came as a surprise to the jocks when i could hold my own in games even as one of the last ones picked. I only participated in soccer outside of school so when we got to that section it was great. It was priceless seeing the face of a football player after slide tackled them to score a goal. My problem in P.E was the people who plain and simple just didnt wanna do anything. It really sucks when ur the only one on a team making an effort or to feel weird for running when everyone is walking. It's not so much about building skills you need for the future, its about staying healthy. Besides even without that i enjoyed a chance to stretch my legs after sitting in a desk for hours.

Most pointless part of P.E was having to do a full quarter of swimming 2 years in a row -.- seriously. I just dont like water that much and felt that that was too much time to waste. Oh and we had a dance section <.< dont know why

I don't like the fact that you have to take tests which count for a large portion of PE's grade, but the coarse itself is necessary.
