im starting to get ready to make the DS minecraft server, so i was wondering what you guys want. here is a list of what i was thinking, and please answer the questions, so i know what i should do for the server ^-^


1) should the map be random, or should i create one in world painter?
2) should we have 1 texture pack that we use on the server?( so every build will look the way it should)
3) should i take tnt off?
4) should i make the fire no spread?
5) should the level be on easy, normal, hard?
6) should i make spots where unlisted people cant place, remove blocks?
7) should the server be role-play, or do what ever we want?
8) should i make a really nice town, or let people build where ever?
9) should i make the server survival, and only some people be in creative?

and if you have any other questions, ill put them on this list

No idea. I don't play Minecraft, though I want to. :/

1) Random.
2) I'd rather have it so anyone can use any texture pack.
3) Well I personally don't think anyone really needs it for anything...so probably not.
4) No spread
5) Normal
6) It might be a good idea if you're intending to protect things from unwanted visitors.
7) It can be both, honestly. Just don't interfere in the chat if an RP is active and you are not in the RP.
8) You could make a nice town for those that wish to live in society terms with a shop, enchantment library, etc. Let anyone else have their own building.
9) I, honestly, would love to have creative as I love making pixels and really nice houses for fun! But, you never know, some people may decide to use their creative abilities for the wrong reason, so it really depends who you have on the server. If it's clear that no one will grief or do wrong then I don't see an issue in having creative for everyone.
Edit: Well, I want creative but everyone else wants Survival. I'll just say that some people of your pick get creative then. Trustworthy people.

8. Make a nice town c: but make it a god distance away from free build/survival areas

My opinion and answers may not matter since nobody knows me to well, but I know most of you a bit well.

Ah... Minecraft. I once recreated an entire vault from one of the Fallout games... good times.

5) should the level be on easy, normal, hard? Normal so we get Zombie Villagers
6) should i make spots where unlisted people cant place, remove blocks? YOu should make it so users here can, but random people that stumble upon it cant.
7) should the server be role-play, or do what ever we want? Both
8) should i make a really nice town, or let people build where ever? A really nice town
9) should i make the server survival, and only some people be in creative?Creative, but set it to /gamemode 0 so in case youre like dying for hunger you ccan slip an apple.

3) As much as I like blowing stuff up it would probably be a good idea to take it off.

8) A nice town would be sweet. But people should still be able to be crazy hermits if they want to be.

1) Random, as long as we don't end up on a deserted Extreme Hills biome like I do everytime e_e.
2) Faithful Texture Pack, although some people might not know how to install it

9) Survival, there are enough Creative Servers.
