in Novato, CA? I've seen Skylanderboyandgirl's video and it seemed like their shop is open to anyone--that is they were not alone walking around their shop. Do you just show up at their door and they have all day tours? Is it something that's invite only? My boy is begging me to take him now that he's out of school for the summer.

I know that's in California but I don't know if it's always open??

According to their father, they were conducting several child interviews there at that time.

Yeah, I seriously doubt you could just "drop in". The one time I toured a Development Studio (not TF, I had to sign an NDA and I saw several neat things just sitting around, on monitors, etc.

If they had some kids coming by, I imagine they'd have to do some cleaning, so there wasn't anything secret lying about - so an pop-in-and-say-hi visit probably wouldn't go over well. Remember, TFB is already about a year into development on the NEXT Skylanders game.

That's not to say you probably couldn't arrange something...

I'm gonna go there if I could arrange something.
And if I can convince my parents to let me.

I COULD conduct a typed interview and I could get a ton of pictures.

Yeah I figured it would be tough to get in - must have been a PR event. Will call them on Monday and try to get in the next 'TFB tour' per se.

I think Dark52 could go because technically he does tell news.

He lives in the UK..

Our youtube account is pretty active - so hopefully some PR for TFB if we are invited.

Hey, I always was interested in Boomer. A psycho troll waving around sticks of dynamite? Seems fun! He wasn't a priority, not sure if I ever saw him as a single, and when I saw him in a triple I kept resisting because I already had Prism Break (if I only knew).

Every time I think of Toys for Bob, and I know this is kind of random and off topic, but it still relates to TFB, but deep down I hope one day they make a Star Control inspired Skylander to pay homage to TFB's original classic series

I think he's cool. That cooky face of his paired with his metal gloves and boots gave him an overall coolness that some other people might not have seen.

Well it is no shocker, we of course had a great time. As much as I want to share what we've seen and heard today, I can't because understandably we signed a non-disclosure agreement. All I want to say is to save your money because you are going to want these new characters to your collection

Can you say what the topic was or not? Like if they showed you new levels, or new characters? Mano specifics.

This was earlier before we made our drive to TFB. Shhh he took his sister's Kindle Fire and added some flare to it


My son armed with a backpack full of our custom Skylanders to share. I have a cool video of him sharing them with I-Wei, Alex Ness and Robert Leyland. I'll see if it is okay to upload that part of our experience on youtube. Pretty much the carpet was the background during that footage, so there would not be a "secret" reveal per se.

We met up with Chris later in the day. He let my son hold his Employee Prism Break for this photo


Portal signed by its maker Robert Leyland. We had a good chat about the mechanics of the portal and the lightcore. I told him we have 7 portals from different sets but since we started collecting late we never had the oppourtunity to purchase this version. He offered this one and of course I asked him to sign it. He's a totally down to earth guy who loves his job. I know I would.


Our E3 Hotdog signed by his maker I-Wei. I had Alex sign it too.
