I know that there's 2 different horn colors for her but I want to see something.

Would this be the rare horn variant? Need conformation.

I just looked at my whirlwind and the horn is the same as yours --two-toned.

Mine--S2 whirlwind--has a two-toned horn pink/gold. I believe that is the normal coloring. Sorry if I'm missing something--but if I understand correctly--it appears to be the "normal" horn coloring.

All of the whirlwinds at my local stores all have the horn terribly painted. It's like a pink horn partially dipped in yellow. It has no depth or contrast, but mine does, and it's sparky gold.

It doesn't mean it's "rare", It just means it's a different paint tone, most likely painted a different way then instructed.

That's how mine is too (pink with shiny gold), and it sounds like Shelly's as well... I'm betting it's not that rare at all from the sound of it, but who really knows!!

Gold is just an early production. Yellow is later.

This is just like the Chill lips again.

Neither one is "the rare one," they are likely made in more than one facility.

Mine has the gold gradient and I bought her on launch, I saw yellow ones back then and still see both variations now.

Yes, it happens with quite a few... Chill, Whirlwind, Prism Break, etc... I agree with Okaps that it's just the production differences we're noticing!

ALL Skylanders have worse-to-different paint jobs for later productions.

can you shoiw some of the most common examples?

Just look at S2 Prism Break; Early productions have clear blue crystals and a hint of moss on him, while the later ones have green crystals and excessive amounts of moss on him.

Well, at least it's maybe 5% rarer due to it being an early run, lol.

EDIT: On the topic of rarity how would you rate molten hotdog?

Molten hot dog is definitely rare. Especially in certain countries. I got mine on accident, because my Walmart got a "stowaway" Molten that was suppost to go to a different facility. They put it on the shelf anyway, and I'm the only person in my COUNTY with one that didn't order one.
