**I know there has already been a few Polar Whirlwind threads made, but this one is meant to be USA-specific. Also, the most recent Polar thread was getting too clogged up with people arguing over pointless things, so I thought making a new thread would be easier than getting everyone else back on topic.**

This thread will be for reporting news and/or sightings of Polar Whirlwind for all of us American Portal Masters. I know she has already been spotted in Canada, which is usually a pretty good sign that her USA release is only a few weeks away.

Great! I'll be watching thread and I'll post if I hear/see anything in Florida

Without clogging this thread up with a bunch of stupid stuff, I'd be willing to bet, just like every other new figure release, as soon as she starts showing up on shelves, there will be about 40 new threads created dedicated to "I found her!" posts.

All this thread does is make people look into it as soon as it was created. For nothing.

I'm sure it will be out soon. It's funny around here because people don't seem to care anymore. You can find tons of everything depending on which store you check (except S2 Bash apparently) but a good source for me has said Polar will be out in the U.S. by the third weekend of June.

Assuming slightly in how canada's ebgames from those that posted have a gamestop sticker, she's probably going to be a gamestop exclusive in the US as well. Most or pretty much all of canada's major exclusives have come from the same distributors as the US ones.

I would conjecture that GameStop will wait until it has exhausted the "mini sidekicks" promotion that it's been running, and then after a week or two, proceed with rolling-out Polar Whirlwind as its next reason/teaser to get USA consumers inside their stores.

^ Yup, exactly. No use theorizing about conspiracies when it's obviously a matter of running promotions. Where's the sense in holding two of them simultaneously? Save Polar for after the Sidekicks, and the same people who just left are already back in stores. It is so obviously this and nothing else, just wait.

The sidekicks promotion is done as I found out yesterday when they had in the wb,fr,fs triple and the one employee did it for me just once to get trigger snappy. If any gamestops have figures left this time for sidekicks they aren't allowed to sell them until another sale comes around for them. The sale ended on may 31st so we should see polar sometime next week or the week after at gamestop

I've noticed this big time. There isn't the same buzz and lines of people waiting like there was just a few months ago. For me in Virginia its been easier and easier to find figures.

Ya series 2 bash is a hard one, it reappeared a few weeks back and then it went bye bye again. Hopefully he'll be back along with slam bam.

Our TRU restock a few of S2 Bash and S2 Flameslinger but no S2 Slam Bam yet.

Fingers crossed that Gamestop will be getting her soon!! Only another week or so until LC Hex, I'm hoping they're released right around the same time, along with S2 Drobot!!

^ You should read about the preorders for swap force as I wouldn't consider being able to get LC Hex until october due to her being given away for free with it.

No, I am done with Skylanders after Giants... I will not be purchasing Swap Force but I know that she's not exclusive to preordering Swap Force, I have patience and am not worried... I am however ready to be done with the Giants figures, lol Just release them all and take our money already! haha
