I think that it would be a good idea to have some sort of chat box for public conversations. Kind of like Skype, but built into the the site in case you don't have Skype. It's probably a stupid idea, but hey, worth a shot. :/

I suggested an idea like this to dark, since I'm annoyed the young Skylander fans keep using the game pages like chatrooms for off-topic discussions, advertisements and other things instead of using the actual message boards.

Yeah, I was never that obsessed. It gets annoying after a while.

It would be better to just disable comments on the Skylander game pages altogether, and force the users to use the message boards they should be using instead of spamming the game pages with countless 'Hi guys!' 'Look my Skylander pictures!', "Any new pictures yet?' or ' Look at the Skylander icons!'

Yeah, that would really clean the site up quite a bit. I also really hate stupid comments like:
"Oh my gosh I LOOOOVE CAMO!"
"Me too! Sell you mine!"
"How much?"
Ect. Ect.

Now you people are just making fun of Skylanders fans.

I wasn't intentionally making fun of them as you claim, Ryan. I was simply pointing out what's commonly seen on the comments of the game pages.

Yeah. None of the Hunters have ANY jurisdiction there. And I'm relatively sure that a lot of people don't bother looking at those comments too much, so the spam largely goes unreported. <.<

I do notice those comments. They are pretty stupid and off-topic. There should be a chatroom for skylanders comments like those. And a chatroom for us S&N peeps .
