Tonight in Niagara Falls NY, the Walmart store had a HUGE Spyro's Adventure section set aside. Pegs had names designated to them, two of which were Boomer!? There was also a peg labelled s1 Zap, but there were no associates in the section to ask about this. Did they have these figures or are they expecting them in soon?? I'm going to call them tomorrow and try to get to the bottom of this. Anyone else in USA seen Spyro's Adventure sections at Walmart lately!?

I only saw three packs. On clearence.

I don't live in the States(but very close to the Can/US border), but in some stores I have seen some S1 Skylanders still up for sale. As for what could of happened there, maybe they had the wrong labels, I'm guessing?

Basically it's possible as I think not sure in saying it before the fact that walmart is able to distribute more figures of s1 which were probably held over. I think they probably will have them in all of the stores. You just have to look as you did at the pegs though the obvious answer might be it's possble they were already there?

What time did you go to that store? That will vary usually in how they display them and if they've already been bought.

Alot of times the pegs that you see are not what are actually going on the shelf. It could be that Boomer was the first in their "inventory catalog" and that is what prints out when they print labels.

Walwart near me (Suburb of Philadelphia, between Philly and Allentown) had a huge selection of S1 Skylanders on sale for the past couple of weeks. They did have 1 Voodude when I went through, lots of Ignitor, whirlwind, sonic boom and Stumpsmash.

This pretty much because I went to a few walmarts today and from what I found the normal pegs for the s1 display says character 6pk assortment which means how they get them in. There is the rollback tag on the peg that is for the weekly sale and they list boomer, voodood, drill sarg, eruptor, zap, etc on those tags. It doesn't mean the stores will get them in, just they have the place for them if they do. At this point with any of s1 take what is listed with a grain of salt and it comes down to luck in getting that one if it will show up.

Most of the Spyro's figures went "before they were even properly hung on the pegs". They had "enough of Boomer to fill both pegs and several they just put on the shelf below". Now with Wal-mart in the USA getting a rather large selection of series one, and myself seeing some at Wal-mart Canada (Zap, Warnado, Camo, DinoRang, Hex etc)....it leads me to believe either Wal-mart has located a warehouse full of them or Activision is re-releasing. That's my belief, as time passes it will be seen if this is purely several flukes or a trend.

^ lucky you, we don't have much S1 here in Vancouver, bc. It's like almost empty.

My walmarts barely carry skylander giants, let alone another series 1. If boomer is returning to the wild I'm taking a roadtrip

Again it all varies on the walmart but the fact that they made space, I'm still saying the ones you saw were more of listing for the sale IF they get them in you have to remember that so yeah if they happen to come in that week sometime when you don't see them there it's always good to be ready for when they do.

About acti rereleasing it might be the fact of how they had overstock that was sent back to warehouses and maybe just maybe a small bit of that could hopefully be a rerelease as there is still a demand for s1 especially those that are missing which wouldn't be unheard of. All I'm going to say is not to get too excited but take what you see with a grain of salt. If you luck out in finding some you do, but as you said how the employees say that they went as fast as they were placed upon the pegs.

My Walmart has a small selection of SG figs. No S1.

Went to my local Walmart here in Vancouver, BC Canada and they had full of S1 single pack such as Dino-Rang, Warnado, Camo, Hex, Zook, and Lightning Rod. Theres was no S1 before here in Walmart but now they do no Wham-Shell or Boomer though.

Looks like I'll be stopping by Walmart tomorrow to try for a Darklight Crypt (yeah right) or Dino-Rang.

There has never been SSA at any of my local stores, because I live in an area where most people are into Skylanders. That's why it's so hard to find even the mos common types of Skylanders (I.e. flashwing, Cynder, stump smash), so no, I have never even SEEN S1 Skylanders besides the adventure pack ones. I doubt they will have that spike in my area.

I got my Boomer on ebay for 8 bucks, the woman didn't know what she had and I bought it as a but it now about 2 minutes after she posted it. She said she had like four people email her about it after I bought it......it was a great feeling!

i didn't see any variants or any 3 pack or adventure pack, tomorrow ill check other walmart and costco also

US Costco does not carry Skylanders.

Costco does not carry Skylanders, as I just looked today when I cashed my rewards check. They don't even sell video games anymore, except a few select deals during the holidays.

Activision made more S1 units available to retailers, it is not a fluke. Find one or more S1 figures, and you can figure out which characters you may have missed. Dino-Rang, Hex, Camo, Warnado, Lightning Rod, Zook arrive in the same box. Wham-shell is contained with Cynder, Stealth Elf, Sonic Boom, Stump Smash, Prism Break. Voodood with Flameslinger, Whirlwind, Double Trouble, Drobot, Ignitor.

Boomer is packed 3 per box with 3 Wrecking Ball, but those units predate the above the waves, and most likely aren't showing up like the above 3 waves. There was also a more recent wave sent to Toys R Us with 2 each of Chop Chop, Hex, and Drill Sergeant.

I know U.S Costco doesn't sell Skylanders but Canada Costco does, well the one here in Vancouver anyway.

Ok cool so I wont bother with Costco here in US. So if series 1 are returning i might collect singles then. I only got triples with series 1 as i joined the game after last xmas. Figure now if i do boomer and xap will be my hardest to find single i guess.

^ I haven't seen any Boomer and Wham-Shell but i saw Adventure Pack of Sunburn, Terrafin and Slam Bam in Walmart, no Darklight Crypt though. I wonder why so many S1 releasing again?

Honestly, based on the figures they've been finding, I doubt it. The figures all point to the Camo/Warnado wave that came out late last year right before Whamshell dropped, which, if memory serves me correctly, did not contain Boomer. There were tons of Boomer left over from previous waves, but I don't recall him shipping in either of the last two SSA waves. Feel free to correct me (as I'm at work and too time starved to search out an old thread to make sure), but I believe that wave's box came 1x Camo, 1x Warnado, 1x Dino Rang, 1x Voodood, 1x Lightning Rod, 1x Zook, leaving no room for Boomer to show up in these long-forgotten/misplaced boxes.

My local Walmart put out some old figures from SSA and one being Wham Shell- I've been seeing them put more out a few at a time lately- so this isn't too shocking.

sooo jealous! Id like to buy a few more series 1 figures. i regretted buying more when i had the chance
