Great strategy. I hadn't thought of that. Do you live in LA though so it is easy to pick them up? I'm guessing most people on craigslist do not ship stuff.

Wish I was there...I'd like to check the whole thing out. I
The buyer for our hospitals childrens and adults toys. We use the toys for different therapeutic reasons---occupational/talk/play therapies. I've wondered if that would meet the requirements to go. I know the hospital would be into anyplace where we could find new and useful things for our patients. But we wouldn't ever buy hundreds of each item. Would be more along the lines of 10 to 20 of each item that would work for us. Maybe I'll look into it in the next year or two.

Looks pretty cool. I'm glad they finally started actually painting details on them instead of just slapping paint on the whole thing, base and all.

I managed to get one. Its not hard, just time consuming, especially when there is so much else to do at E3. You only have a 25% chance and you only get one spin on the wheel and you are sent to the end of the line. Line wait is about 15 minutes, sometimes shorter, sometimes longer. There was one guy who tried 16 times before getting one, another guy 11 times. I got mine on the 5th try.

In contrast, the line to wait for the Disney Infinity figures is about 35-45 minutes, but you are guaranteed a random toy. Unfortunately they are standard retail, not special edition like the skylanders. However you can get lucky and get a three pack.

Heres mine, going to try for another tomorrow. My daughter is dying to play with it so hopefully I can get her one to open.
