Wait. It looks kinda real. Not tht I don't believe you ( I really do ) but how exactly can you tell that it is a fake?

He already has a Glow in the Dark variant, there are 3 of each variant, if this was real, there would be at least 4 or 5 on eBay.

And if this was real, the Gold variants wouldn't have been shipped until Wave 5 came out.

Wow! how low will some people go to get money these days?

Trust me, someone tried to go MUCH lower by selling a fake Gold Stump Smash and claiming Activision gave him one out of the "10" that "existed".

Looks legit, but it's most likely a custom.

Problem here is that he is selling it as it being from Activision and a "chase" variant.


Take a look at the background on that packaging. It is not even in the backing that the figures came in.


So.... I talked to someone from Amazon and they said that all items sold on Amazon are real. That if I wanted to buy it and was not satisfied I could get a refund for it. This person really had no idea what I was trying to say.... Fail.....

This is the same seller that has the gold flameslinger triple---I sent an email confirming it today and got response back from amazon seller listed for this "gold warnado"

Another user on here told me that he is the same seller that has the flameslinger gold triple packs for sale, just has a different user name.

I left that feedback on Amazon and when I woke up this morning come to find out that my order for the gold triple pack had been cancelled. So apparently because I posted and called them out on the fake gold warnado they decided to cancel my triple pack order. I did not know at the time that it was the same seller. Anyways, Amazon fail!

The description and shipping and handling, as well as the user name, are exactly the same, only it's a Flameslinger instead of Warnado. It is definitely a match. If that Warnado was a fake, you can bet this one is a fake too. He is not a very reliable seller if you want a "gold" Skylander from him!

They originally said it was gold yes--then I sent another message asking if it was 100% gold and they took it down---also--ill cut and paste convo regarding gold warnado...

Not that I believe this to be real, but has this actually been confirmed by Activision or did someone post fraudulent information?

I thought we sent an email to verify---but i just went to get a copy to post here and my husband said he called...and was told it was not made. We did that because--I thought it was fake but still thought--"what if...?" Lol'. Shows why I have been a taken a couple times lately.

I wish I knew. I don't really know how far "fake Skylanders" go. Are there people who manufacture fake Skylanders and perfect looking packaging? (Like many listings on Ali express) the only way I would ever know is if it looked noticeably different and/or it was a character that wasn't produced. I recently bought 2 Skylanders from different people that weren't what they were represented to be. But until those two, I've never had a problem. I'm sure there are people here that know MUCH more sbout this.

1. If you own a Gold one, the plastic is completely gold, no paint.

2. The whole pre-loaded at level 5 with 2100 coins shpeel.

That Warnado look totally fake. and you don't even have to look at it. "Gold Warnado"? No such thing.

No this was not a repaint.....it is an original gold warnado by activation. Out of the golds the Warnado is the rarest. I have the clear stealth elf 3 pack and I have a loose clear stealth elf. The 3 pack is $200. If you buy one of the golds and the 3 pack I will take $20 of the price and give you free shipping.

When I looked just now, I saw three reviews (I added a fourth), all of which have names I think I recognize from here (including Bazinga and Shelly), so that's just Dark Spyro users being helpful, LOL! This seller is still scum.

Making a custom is fine. Selling a custom is fine. But don't try to pass it off as a real, rare varient! And when I saw it before (it's "Unavailable" now), it was $200. NO custom is worth that, except maybe the ones from the guy who's making the movable, articulated ones.

The RELEASED Gold Flameslinger was released for Giants (he's a Series 2), so he has the Giants pose: 3 arrows pointed up. This fake listing is an SSA Flameslinger, 1 arrow pointed out.

(All those other tips are fine when you have him in hand, but don't help when trying to spot a fake listing and avoid buying a fake)

Flamslinger was actually released in a gold chase variant in S1 also. The S1 Flameslinger is just more rare than the s2 flameslinger.

Yep--that's the one I was trying to buy itiginally --S1 flameslinger gold--but because others by seller were fake-I was leery--or more accurately my husband wanted some clarification before I bought from seller.

Ooh, you've seen those too? They are pretty cool, although I think $200 is still overpriced.
