I hate when people saw it is a decision. To some, it might be, but for most, it's not. You can't decide who you love, and it is hard to be proud of who you are, when maybe that don't even know you hate you automatically because of who you love. It's even harder when people around you use the word "gay" as a word to insult someone. Maybe hide who they are because of the fear of what will happen, the fear that if they come out, they will get terrible treatment at school and home....

In response to the topic question...... bullies. They are just too mean.

Even if it was somehow a"choice", religion is a choice and it is protected, and even honoured - why not the same for homosexuality and other sexualities? Like religion, it would be a "personal choice of belief" (this belief being who you are attracted to/if you're attracted at all and so forth).

To be fair, I did enjoy the movie the first time I watched it, but the second time I started to notice things that I didn't like, it's still a pretty entertaining movie. And I suppose Avatar: The Last Airbender isn't for everyone, I personally love it though.

One thing everyone can agree on is that 'The Last Airbender' movie was horrible.

Yup, apart from they missed out crucial moments of the story, put may too much emphasis on unnecessary parts of the story, took away all comedy and charm from all the characters and the storyline, had horrible acting, and messed up the entire mythology behind the show. It's supposed to be Chinese-based not Indian-based, M. Night Shaymalan!

No, excuse you, it sucked major ass.

Let's tally up the cinematic sins this movie has:

1. No character name was pronounced right
   
2. Only 2 actors actually did a good job acting in it (Iroh and Zuko)
   
3. None of the characters were actually like their animated counterparts
   
4. Effects were total crap
   
5. Movements were total crap
   
6. Each nation was a different race, unlike the series that portrayed people of every race in every nation
   
7. They are making another one
   

These are just the major ones. If I rewatched the movie (which I definitely would not) to count the smaller ones, you'd be stuck here reading the list and I'd wish I had 90 minutes of my life back.
