Simpsons and Futurama aren't considered adult shows, they're family shows.

generally "adult" shows are 18+ only

family guy's highest rating on TV is 14+
the simpsons is described as a "adult animated sitcom", but rating is rather low
futurama ratings never go above TV-14, i think
and so forth
as most of the ratings of these shows linger around PG and TV-14+
none of these are actually "adult" when it comes to age restriction
while at the same time, showcase adult humour, but often cases does adult humour go understood or appear dry and tasteless (and much even still can be when you are "adult", as being agesitic is silly)
so, in summary: they are "teenager shows" when it comes to what their showcased "age ratings" are and each specifically targets a certain sense of humour, which may be prevalent across several age groups and is subjective to the person

Beavis and Butt-Head is a kids show. They even had a cameo on Arthur!!!



I had a friend compare it to Goosebumps and Are you Afraid of the Dark once, but those are kid shows too!

You mean the Super Smash Bros franchise (or maybe you just meant Super Smash Bros. Brawl specifically?)

And yeah, I'd say Skyrim too, actually. Looks like a very well made game, but it's not my cup of tea personally.
