i think thats just for the vault alone. Some bestbuy still have spyro with the vault in the USA. I saw one a few weeks back.

I saw that a few months back. But no way I'm dropping 50 bucks on it.

I still want to get that Volcanic Vault! I wish my Best Buy had these!

(No way I'm overpaying for the thing either!)

Makes Best Buy prices look reasonable by comparison.

The ones that include VV are about $150.

The Volcanic Vault is such a waste for anyone that isn't a collector that has to "get em all" or unless you get it as a free bonus with something else. It doesn't work in anything other than the first game (Giants won't do anything with it). All it opens is a very mediocre vs. arena that is just a re-skin of another arena you already have. And once you unlock it and it saves you have no other use for it. At least the Battle Pack items double as assist items. It's small, only the size of a half dollar, and flat so it really doesn't stand out or look cool.

It unlocked the same arena in Giants for me, unless it got unlocked from me doing something else. Yeah, value isn't there...it's a completion quest for sure.

We started late in collecting. Didn't know this even existed. Will find someone who has it just so I can add another arena. Other than that it doesn't sound like its worth the price.

Nope, not even close to being worth it. But then again look at the crazy prices people were willing to pay for the Sidekicks!!

LoL, that's the truth. Sidekicks in the game can only be classified as "annoying". They bounce around like a ADHD kid that missed his Ritalin and follow whichever player is the closest as they warp around when they get stuck behind walls. And on the 3DS they don't even do that except for the hub worlds.

As a collector, obviously they are a necessity. But as a player, they have zero value.
