I dislike most FPS (excepting Metroid Prime and Portal), shame so many games are inappropriate. Btw, never touched an M-rated game (or an R-rated movie) in my life, so I can't say exactly how un-fun Halo is, but I'm just not a fan of the FPS genre.

I might try Cloud Patrol though :P

In my own opinion, Halo has a very engaging single player storyline with a good bit of lore behind it. I didn't much care for Halo 4 or ODST (which both still had great story arcs), but Halo 1, 2, 3, Wars, and Reach were some of my favorite games ever(Especially Reach!) . Plus, half the time I die during online multiplayer I end up laughing because of my body ragdolling high into the sky or some random stuff ingame.

Ya they were cool about it. I gave it till may 24th and they apologized and just shipped another order of 2.

Polar may be GameStop exclusive, EB Games has her now.

Polar is verifiable as a GameStop exclusive. The other topic has a picture of her with the "GameStop Exclusive" sticker. So, I'd say the bet is settled.

Well, I can't find the original post with the terms of the wager. (Anyone else having any luck? Or was it deleted from the forum?) Was it that Polar was to have a "North American" release or a "US" release? Since she hasn't shown up in the US yet, we could be a (very) short while away from finalizing the outcome of the bet.

With that said, in regards to the "MAYbe" comment - I'd like to point out that the question at had was about when we'd get more info on a Polar Whirlwind release. Meanwhile, the first post about Polar Whirlwind being an EBGames/GameStop exclusive was posted on... May 31st. To be honest, I'm surprised it took that long for the information to leak out. Good job keeping this one secret.

Heck, you had some of the hard core "fans" fooled into thinking it was never coming out in the US at all.

^ Scarlet did release here in North America so i knew Polar would too, its like when Scarlet and Polar were release in Europe first. But im shock about Polar being a Gamestop/EB Games Exclusive, i thought they would release her to every store like Scarlet did. Activision is releasing everything now, once i get the LC Hex and Pop Fizz i have couple of months to put money away for Swap Force

The terms of the original wager require Polar to have a US release, so, until she's officially sited at a US store, I can't officially claim to be a winner. Yet.

Hair dryer and Goo Gone are your friend. Pain in the butt but it works.

Lighter fluid works even better for sticker removal.

I wonder if this means gamestop in usa will get this also. I was sort of hoping it went the way of scarlet and was everywhere.

It kind of sucks on another exclusive but for gamestop to get her, hopefully when it comes time for the US that she won't come by one or two to boxes and they have as many as scarlet for them. I need to get about 3 of her still. I'm glad on the picture posting so I'm sure we might even see her by monday or tuesday of this week then or by wednesday.

^ There were only 6 Polar Whirlwinds that was release in Eb Games when i was there, so i was thinking is they might ship a few of her then after that activision won't ship out anymore like they did for Granite Crusher ( Target Exclusive), Jade Flashwing (Target Exclusive) and Molten Hot Dog (Walmart Exclusive) and now we have Polar Whirlwind (Gamestop/Eb Games Exclusive).

I went ahead and got one from Amazon.it as well. It was easier than dealing with the rush that's sure to come this week. I really don't feel like setting aside time to be there when the UPS truck arrives at GameStop just for a toy. I'll pay shipping and just deal with it.

That's one way to look at it which I did for 2 of the 5 i needed to get. I still have 3 to go so I'll probably be doing that this week like many and waiting at that time. My guess is that either monday or tuesday or by latest wednesday people will see her in store.

I personally think that a lot of people won't order her from Amazon.it due to the UK peg, which is kinda dumb (Yet I didn't, but I ordered Scarlet before she was announced for the US ).

Well the peg only matters if you keep them in the box. My son tore that Polar Whirlwind's packaging to shreds and we were good to play, hah.

Anyone know when she is going to be out in the US? She is probably my favorite variant. Plus I don't want to try and hunt for her for days and days.

The quality control for the paint on Skylanders figures is so randomly horrible that I absolutely refuse to buy one that I haven't seen in person first, so ordering figures online is absolutely out of the question for me.

^ as for me i always check the paint job, sometimes it takes me 15-20mins just for me to pick the right one in the stores, i decided to order 2 Polar Whirlwinds from amazon.it a month ago and thinking to myself what if the paint job isn't that good? So when i got the package, i opened the box and i gotta say the paint job was perfect, more perfect than any S2 i owned. I say that Polar Whirlwinds that i got from Amazon.it is better than the ones in Eb Games.

Are all Skylanders manufactured in the same place? I had assumed they were all just made in China, because, well, c'mon.

Maybe i just got lucky that Amazon shipped me the best perfect paint job Polar Whirlwind lol but ya the Polar Whirlwinds in Eb Games still decent paint job though, better than Scarlet Ninjinis paint job anyway.

I tend to only order online if there is a good price, if the paint job sucks i will hold that item till i find it in store, buy the one thats in store and return the bad paint job one. So far Ive only had to do that on one triple pack. I have a bad triple pack 7 with horrible paint job on wrecking ball but I'm holding it till i find better as idk when i'll see another pack 7. My local stores havent had packs 1-4 forever nor the hot dog battle pack.

I would have ordered it online through Amazon to avoid the hassle but I did that for Scarlett Ninjini and ended up seeing bunches of her on the peg for retail. So decided to wait this one out....
