YOLO is You Only Live Once, the new and stupid way the youth of today says "Carpe Diem" which is latin for "Seize the day". From what has been observed, most people who believe in "YOLO" use it as an excuse to do crazy, stupid **** and try to get away with being a dumb ***. While yes, Carpe Diem is meant to be a sort of "live every day as if you'll die tomorrow" kind of thing, it is not an excuse to do stupid dangerous stunts, drink so much alochol you nearly die of alcohol poisoning, or do any form of illegal drug. It is meant to be used more of a do something you would otherwise be afraid to do, have no regrets, and otherwise live in a way so that you are happy in life and can die happy. Doing things like going out with friends rather than staying at home all the time or riding that scary ride at the fair.
