Was there a way to know Scarlet Ninjini was going to be a character before she was produced or even put up for sale on Amazon.de, similar to the way some knew that a Polar Whirlwind would eventually show up?

^Because they have to code the chip and the character in game differently...yes Activision does know exactly who what where when how and why.

Outside of that, it's all marketing and what they decide to tell (or not tell us). Usually it's piecemeal on their timetable. FYI--Universe hinted at all of these variants...not sure how they will choose to let consumers know in the future.

When Universe was around (it's closed now), the way it listed characters was by allowing you to purchase them with in-game money to play as them in Skylanders Universe if you didn't have them. EVERY character and in-game variant was available. Dark Spyro was listed, yet nothing was provided saying how or when he or any character would be released.

I would say it is most likely that he will remain a S1 only variant.

This is not meant to break any rules --but I ended up with three extra scarlet ninjini's ---my mother had heard that we were looking for scarlet awhile ago and when she saw that you could buy three on target.com she bought them. I can easily return them, which I will, but I thought if anybody needed her, that I'd offer. Although I'm pretty sure she is so widely available that everybody already has her.
PM me over next few days ---I won't return until Tuesday morning be side Monday is a holiday.
