Now that we've seen what seems to be all of the next-generation consoles, which ones appeal to you and which ones are you planning on getting? I already own the Wii U and I'm thinking about getting an Ouya for Christmas for its affordability and since I feel it has potential. The Playstation 4 and Xbox One seem interesting, but I don't plan on getting them.

Buy a PC. It's way better than all of them.

Wii U: Own it.
PS4: Looks okay but I only usually get one console per gen.

PlayStation 4: Will wait to see what launch games it offers, so far I'm most likely getting it
Xbox One: Dumb idea, never getting unless they do something like release a new classic Spyro plaformer exclusive to it <.<

I'm leaning more towards the PS4, but to be honest I'd rather buy a PC.

PC gaming is genuinely the best option. Controls can be more precise using a keyboard, considerably better graphical options (even more most low-end PC's these days), it's the way that all game are truly developed to be played (since all games are made using PC's/Mac's etc), much easier and cheaper to upgrade the hardware for a PC every 2 years than spend hundreds on a new console every 5 years.

I could go on, but I think I've proven my point.

Wii U. Was just obsessively playing the Rayman Legends Challenge App on it.

And yet, there are plenty of alternatives on PC that you can play on PC but not on console - and there are a lot more PC exclusive than console exclusives. Besides, most people who own a PC have a console as well, it's not like people choose to miss out on console exclusives by buying a PC.

PC and Wii U are my gen 8 consoles. I might get a 360 if it gets cheap.

Okay, let's see:
Wii U: I've always liked the Nintendo games. I grew up with those games, but for lack of money, I can not buy it. Also, not my favorite.

Playstation 4: It really is very powerful in graphics, videogames and online games, but I'm not a fan of that.

Xbox One: I've always been a fan of Xbox, but with this new version, like a VHS, I'm in doubt. Especially in how expensive it will cost each game and accessories. Microsoft has always been very expensive in that regard. Everything is very expensive with their devices.

Ouya: What's that? first time I hear it. Nothing to say.

Honestly if I had a lot of money, or were a millionaire, I'd buy everything, but, as it is in dreams. I'm now concentrating more is on the PC.
But, I'm not saying that rejects those consoles. First see how it will be and then, see if they are worth buying or not.

Wii U - already got. Got some good stuff coming in the future, even if not at the moment...

PS4: This would be my second-choice console for this generation. I've got higher hopes for it that Xbox.

Xbox One: The lack of games shown doesn't impress me. Plus the whole reliance on Kinect all the time, plus the whole used game/installing games onto hard drive is rather annoying too. Also, the name is stupid.

Ouya: The fact it's Android doesn't really impress me. Got no interest in Android games.

Forget this stuff... I'm getting this!

Probably PS4. Xbox can screw itself and WiiU looks unappealing to me.

None of the above. Currently the Wii is my favored system, I can play my favorite Sonic and Kirby games and some of my favorite Gamecube games. The Wii U doesn't offer Gamecube compatibilty which really hit me in the face. I was never an Xbox person so I'll skip that, nor was I a Play Station one. So yeah if I had to choose one Wii U since I can play my Sonic and Kirby Games.

Depending on the titles and price, the PS4.

Wii U: Have one

PS4: Definitiley getting one, got some good games like InFamous Second Son, Killzone Shadow Drop, and Knack.

Xbox One: Was a bit skeptical about this at first. Might get one because all of my friends will probably get one.

Ouya: I'm fine with my Samsung Galaxy S3 thank you.

i probably gonna pick up a wii-u, when there will be a wii-u v2 released.... then if not sony do same mistake as microsoft's xbone that is drm infested tv box that need to be online to function and have a monthly fee to be able to play games(read without pause and taking breath).... if none of that i will also get a ps4.

I don't know. They're just games, so it doesn't really matter to me. But the Xbox One looks pretty ****ty so far so I'll probably go with the PS4.

I haven't even got any yet. But I will probably eventually get the PS4 and WiiU, since I always get the next gen from Sony and Nintendo.

Wii U: I already have it, and I enjoy it and LOVE the gamepad play feature.

PS4: I don't care for it. The 'no PS3 compatibility' just ruined it for me.

XBOX One: I have no need. Any game, I am sure, that I would want to play, would just be available for PC.

Ouya: It is interesting, but I am not interested in it.

Wii U: Maybe looks cool.
PS4: Definitely I am getting this!
