See, we need more Skylanders like this that actually feel new! With all the humanoids/robots/dragon/plants, newer Skylanders kinda feel the same... Especially you, Crusher and Blast Zone!

I would happily add it to my collection even if I didn't buy the game, it's like a mix of a black Hot Dog, with the chubbiness of Dino-Rang and the beasties of Pop Fizz. And it's an Undead who isn't a humanoid or Cynder! He also reminds me of Crash Bandicoot, which is pretty cool...

Is that a custom sculpt or a toy from somewhere else?

Nightbite is extremely original.

Unlike Ignitor and Chop-Chop and Fright Rider

^Fright Rider is pretty original imo. There's quite a few cliche landers but that's fine because we need a number of them in the elements. A werewolf is cliche but it frickin works. My only advice is to get rid of a few cute features and make him a tad more menacing. He looks like Scooby Doo's nephew.

Yep, maybe Activision can create a contest for this kind of stuff cause I can see this on my portal now. We definitely need Witches, Ghouls, Zombies (seriously--Walking Dead craze and no zombie landers?), Vampires etc as Undead landers. Rollerbrawl is too cute I want to fear my undead leanders.

if that one was part of the roster and in the starter? day 1 purchase. That one from the concept art and how it looks on the s1 pose (looks and probably is cynder's as you can tell by the feet) with all that work put in, they should take note. I would rather see that one than the roller blading undead girl

The issue you run into with the idea of wanting vampire, witches, ghouls, and zombies is the fact that this game is suppose to be geared towards children. Don't get me wrong, I feel it would be cool to have those types as well but as long as Acti's focus is the younger kids we will get stuck with cute monster type things.

Maybe in Swap Force they will have one. It's actually not too farfetched of an idea. After all, we're already getting a vampire in the form of Night Shift. Werewolves are like Vampires arch rivals. It would be pretty cool to see one.

While I agree that this is pretty awesome, one thing to take away from it is that it will likely prevent such a character from actually coming to the game. Publishers/manufacturers/etc. have to be really careful regarding the type of unpaid, fan-related stuff that they accept, look at, etc., as it would be very easy for someone to sue them for stealing their idea. Since this one is so well thought out and already physically produced, we will likely never see such a character unless TFB or Activision straight up buy the concept from the fan who created; this is rare, but not unheard of, such as the case of Spider Man's black costume. Food for thought.

vampire is sorta ghost roaster, mostly his shirt's collar. witch, pretty much hex. zombies, they are enemies. ghouls, ghost roaster's species it says is ghoul

what is wrong with humanoids? tbh as long as they all seem different and have original attacks, i wouldnt mind if they made more, but like most people i still think they should make a werewolf

Of course, the problem here is that the Undead element has too MUCH inspiration. Sure, let's have a Zombie, Werewolf, Vampire, Witch, Ghoul, Skeleton, Frankenstein's Monster... Even if we were suggesting this during the development of SSA, that's 7 kinds right there, each element is only 4 characters. Now that SSA has come out, each new game must fill some slots with previous characters, Giants only was able to add 2: Eye-Brawl and Fright Rider (who are none of these).

That said, this Nightbite is AWESOME! Wish we could see him, get him. Agreed that he looks a touch too cute, (more so in the physical figure, the profile pic looks perfect), but as this is a kids game that's remarkedly appropriate.

All in all, Activision should seriously consider buying this concept. Easy going, needs no modification. I imagine in game he might be much like Pop Fizz's beast form, though less wild as it would be his normal form of attack.

Ghost Roaster had it in spades...he's NOT cute. I watched Scooby Doo as a kid and nothing on that show was cute...but cartoony. That's what I'm referring to on the mods. I'm not talking about blood on the fangs guys---just slight mods, make him a tad slimmer....but more of a sinister look in his eyes...kinda like Wrecking Ball SSA vs SG. SSA looked more sinister. Subtle stuff overall, and still cartoony.

Even in current form he's beat about 30% of the current landers easy so I wouldn't complain either way.

Some of the bios place some of the characters in the undead space quite by accident. It wouldn't take much to spin a yarn to make it happen.

Maybe Nightbite can sell some advertising to KFC---"Finger Lickin Good" and "I ate the bones" both come to mind.

I think we've moved beyond this game being just for kids. Sure, the game play is basic enough for kids to play it, but Activision knows by now that there are plenty of older kids and adults who play the game, as well. If parents feel opposed to buying certain figures because of their appearance, then so be it. But we already have a skeleton (Ghost Roaster) and a witch (Hex), and there are spots where we are attacked by zombies (even in a heroic challenge), so adding a werewolf is a pretty tame idea, IMO.

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Growing up, I remember finding vampires, werewolves and etc. pretty cool and I was definitely not alone (I still do love the lore of vamps/werewolves/~spooky thangs~). It's probably even MORE common these days among kids with all the media surrounding these ghouls.

It's as if you've never walked around during Halloween. It's not like they are all of the sudden going to have an M rated Skylanders where they all behead/mutilate the enemies.

i guess your not a fan of halloween or you never go out for halloween when you were a kid lol and i guess you don't know all the Skylanders characters much. Do you think Ghost Roaster looks cute or Wham Shell? If activision focus on younger kids with cute monster type things, why some skylanders aren't cute? Example: Ghost Roaster, Wham-Shell, Slam-Bam, Drill Sergeant, Drobot, Lightning Rod, Prism Break and so on. The only Skylander i find cute is Hot Dog lol. You mention ghoul and there is a ghoul skylander its Ghost Roaster.
